agree with u ayie, pengaruh HDDCS & Devdas sgt kuat dlm soundtrack ni.
SLB masih terikut2 style komposer dia dulu Ismail Darbar.
Khabarnya dia bergaduh dgn Ismail Darbar sbb tu dh x amik jd komposer dia..
Lagu2 best bagi iols: Ang Laga De, Dhoop, Tathad Tathad (lagu dia x unik tp plg catchy), Ram Chahe Leela.
Lagu Laal Ishq tu sangaat lah sama dengan lagu tema Devdas. Boring lak tuh.. huhu
Nagada Sang Dhol memang inspired habis dari Dhol Baaje (HDDCS), a bit of Dola re Dola.. but not as good as the two songs..
So far soundtrack terbaik dari SLB still goes to HDDCS, second to Devdas.

Synopsis released!!
Ram : Born in the land of guns, goons and hardcore enmity, RAM - the local village romeo, is a raapchik, cheap, dramatic vagabond. The lover who fights the whole world for his Leela and yet the man who stands by his clan even at the cost of his own love
Leela : In love with her enemy, a beautiful, young, spicy, fearless gujrati belle, born to an underworld mistress and yet far removed from the violence that surrounds her. Her life is only about her faith in her lover , her tireless wait for him, her sacrifices for him and ultimately her'self' against him
When the two see each other for the first time, worlds collide, wars are fought and destinies are written in blood, forever. The Jadejas and the Rabaris are sworn enemies since the past 500 years and their own kin falling in love with each other is worst than any storm that could have ever come by. Set in the present day, magnificent vibrant landscape of Gujarat, woven with song and dance, Ram and Leela fight the world to live their own dreams. What will happen when they declare their love to the world? Will their families relent or will Ram and Leela carve their own destiny?

Tengok sinopsis dia, boleh expect a few typical twist and characters (knowing SLB movie style):
- Leela ada kakak (tengok cast list ada Richa Chadda as Raseela), kakak dia ni mungkin pernah bercinta dgn salah sorang goon dari clan Ram, tapi terhalang. Bila adik dia nak bercinta dgn Ram, kakak dia jadi batu penghalang (dengki or revenge mungkin). Character pompuan mcm ni juga sentiasa ada dlm movie2 SLB (makcik Aish in HDDCS, kakak ipar Devdas)
- The ending will be down to.. Ram will kill Leela or Leela will kill Ram. Salah seorang (atau kedua2nya) akan mati di tangan masing2. Probably the clans will stop fighting after their death.

Ram-leela promotions don’t upset Richa Chadda

Mumbai: Although actress Richa Chadda is missing from the promotional activities of the forthcoming film Ram-leela, in which she plays a key role, she is unperturbed and supports the makers’ strategy.
Set to release on November 14 in the UAE, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film’s lead actors — Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone — are promoting the magnum opus extensively.
“No, I am not bothered [why I am not there in promotions]. I don’t even think like that because it is the story of Ram and Leela,” Chadda said.
Co-produced by Eros and Bhansali, the makers have released several posters and trailers featuring the lead pair.
“I knew it since the time I signed the film. Their [the makers’] promotional strategy is correct. There are two stars [Singh and Padukone] in the film and it is being sold on the basis of that. If it will do well, then it will be beneficial for everyone,” she said.
“If I would have been the producer. I would have also done the same,” the actress, who proved her mettle in Gangs of Wasseypur and Fukrey, added.

The answer is, if you are Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is technically sound and artistically astute as far as art and craft go, you just become impudent, set the story in Gujarat, sign Bollywood's currently best actress Deepika Padukone (Leela), team her up with 'I've-got-fire-in-my-loins' actor Ranveer Singh (Ram) and then let them loose on one another.
"So bullets fly, blood flows and bahus become victims of evil design. In between this warfare, Deepika and Ranveer touch, feel, kiss and cuddle and ensure you can feel their stirring. Quite unabashedly, the filmmaker uses his lead pair's real and reel chemistry, fuses it with sexual tension and makes it compelling for you to partake in their love-hate relationship. For the most part, Ram-Leela, SLB's most commercial work till date, has nice doses of raunch and ras (juice).
