Nothing to do with govt ni, just an entrepreneur yang nak promote this kind of plane for a possible market in Malaysia. DCA pun tak tau....
Kalau jadi bagus jugak, boleh operate taxi service dari Sempang,Sg Besi Airport ke Kuantan,Ipoh,Melaka... Setiawan, Jenderata, Pangkor... Mersing.

air taxy mmg tak feasible n practical rasanya...rwy pendek pon perlukan link ngan public transport selain kemudahan parkir kereta utk pengguna2nya. kena buat kat tempat yg tak crowded utk tujuan safety dan avoiding congestion.
di samping tu, taxy2 udara nih yg terbang 500 kaki dengan laju i.e. 300 kts have no room for negligence n mistake.... kalu dah banyak berterbangan zig zagging n criss crossing each other n bangunan2 like klcc n the likes macam tak hingat donia, ada ka yg nak naik, authority pon nak bagi naik ka?
tapi kalu buat utk kepentingan ketenteraan di raja malaya, wa no objection...boleh gak hangkut komando2 keluaq masuk medan ngan laju dan songap, cuma kena tukaq stol tuh jadi vtol aja... boleh gak buat misi2 pengeboman secara insani ngan melemparkan bom2 tangan dari tingkap... sonyap dan pasti.... |

Yang mampu naik air taxi ni mesti la org2 yg ada driver sendiri, tak perlu parkir bah..
Untuk light aircrafts, ada lane dia yg kena follow, from 500 ft to 2500 feet, mana boleh fly ikut suka hati jer. Macam highway juga lah. And light aircrafts not suppose to fly closer than 1000 feet to building and populated area unless ada prior permission or for take off and landing. Plane tu boleh pegi 300 kts doesnt mean that u have to fly at that speed. Air regulation,maximum speed 250 kts jer below 10000 ft.
For military, yeah probably good for the pathfinder kind of operation,or macam SWAT team. boleh muat 8 orang kan, satu seksyen commando tu.
Untuk weapon delivery tak berapa sesuai unless platform dia design for that purpose. Kalau speed below 100 kts boleh la buka tingkap baling bom tangan. |

that's why wa kata not feasible n practical utk buat misi pengangkutan taxi... kita ada air rule yg kena ikut, bukan boleh bagi sembarangan orang bawak dan semborono pandu ikut suka. spt yg dimentioned b4 oleh mendiang pereka pesawat nih, ada lane2 yg kena diikuti oleh pesawat2 yg terbang rendah n visual nih... oleh itu soal nak fly 300 kts mmg tak praktikal...dengan kesesakan ruang udara negara masa kini, dengan penambahan pesawat2 ringan yg sudah semestinya lebih perlahan, akan menimbulkan masalah separation between aircraft kpd taxy2 jet nih... defeat the purpose of flying a jet at 500 feet with slow speed...
yeah. mmg tak leh buang bom tangan at 300 kts, nanti bom ke mana, tangan ke mana...huhuhu... tapi boleh buang bom tangan secara songap dan pasti ngan hover sonyap2 (kalu depa buat vtol version instead of stol) kat atas enemy pasai benda nih tak bising, enemy tak perasan...![](static/image/smiley/default/titter.gif)
taxy udara nih asalnya dicipta utk membolehkan orang terbang point to point ngan murah dan mudah... 4 minit ride from heathrow to central london will cost only 40 pound. so wa tak rasa cuma orang kaya yg ada drebar yg mampu naik taxy nih... designed for everybody for normal commuting needs of the normal people.... |

Malaysian airspace ni masih consider kosong lagi, tak banyak light plane flying around.
Kalau setakat simpang airport ke subang airport, ikut VFR lane dia ,every 10 minute satu plane pun no problem.
Alternatively boleh guna ke airstrip2 yg I mentioned kat post #22 tu.
Kalau Nak buat VTOL, engine kena besar, pastu high power required, bising la plak. |

no vtol, no go anywhere.... want to go must have airstrip....no good.... want to carry komando for infiltration must have airstrip...not good...no airstrip, must parachute, extraction of komando also cannot use, must build airstrip by komando to be extracted.. better build a new model with vtol capability, the big n noisy engine can be miniaturised and silenced with the nano technology and the silencer muffler industry that the nation has.. anyway b4 this, got somebody said osprey jet can do it.... if osprey jet can do, jetpod also can....maresia bore......![](static/image/smiley/default/titter.gif) |

Osprey bukan ker yang boleh take off macam chopper, pastu in the air dia boleh tilt the engine forward , jadi macam fixed wing. Tu guna turboprop , punya la bising dengan bunyi jet and the prop lagi.. |

Engine dia memang la jet,tapi thrust kena guna propeller,turboprop.. In this case, very long propeller required kalau nak angkat the whole aircraft vertically up macam chopper. Aerodynamiccally, I dont think the propeller blade can be made smaller or shorter sebab lift depend on the size, kalau nak make the blade smaller,kena increase the number la plak,kena ada 4 or 6 engines, lagi la tak feasible.
Kena tanya kol (r) bashir la, boleh modified paraglider dia kot,
may peng lai, tak apa lah.
