Ring. Ring. "Hello..."

"Hello ! Siapa di sana tu ?" Aku tersintak mendengar suara lembut lunak dalam kesibukan di pejabat ku. Suara yang sering bergema di cuping telinga ku setahun dulu. Malah sembilan tahun dulu nadanya masih serupa. Aku masih dapat mengenali suara itu. Tapi aku ragu akan kehadirannya secara tiba-tiba.

"Aku... Yati. Ingat lagi tujuh tahun dulu ?"

"Maksud kau, sembilan tahun dulu ?"

"Tak sedar rupanya sudah lebih setahun kita tidak bertemu."

"Tuhan tidak menghendaki pertemuan itu lagi. Kau harus sedar keadaan kita sekarang."

"Azman, dengarlah dulu. Kau tak beri aku peluang untuk menerangkan perkara yang sebenarnya."

"Baiklah. Cakaplah sekarang. Aku dengar."

"Bukan di sini, Man. Aku ingin bertemu kau."

"Untuk apa lagi ?..." Hati ku masih berat untuk menerima kehadirannya. Apalagi untuk membina pertemuan dengannya.

"Aku dan Rizal. Kami telah berpisah..."

"Apa ?... Apa maksud kau, Yati ?" Aku seolah-olah dapat merasakan betapa berat hatinya mengucapkan kata-kata itu. Aku menjadi terharu dan simpati.

"Kami tak ada persefahaman. Kau tahu aku tak dapat menerima sesiapa selain dari kau. Kau tahu betapa tersiksanya hati ku dengan kemunculan mu kembali setelah sekian lama."

"Aku masih tidak faham, Yati."

"Man, berterus-teranglah, kalau kau memang tidak faham atau sengaja tidak mahu memahami. Aku akan terangkan semuanya bila kita bertemu nanti. Kau harus tahu, Rizal bukan pilihan ku."

Aku tidak bersuara. Memang ada kebenaran kata-katanya itu. Tidakkah selama ini hati ku telah terluka sehingga aku tidak dapat menerima kehadiran sesiapa dalam hidup ku lagi ? Tidakkah selama ini hati ku telah beku untuk menjalin persahabatan yang akrab dengan sesiapa seperti dulu ? Seperti ketika bersamanya.

"Hello..." suara yang dulunya lembut dan nakal itu terus bergema di cuping telinga ku. Tetapi kini suara itu begitu sayu.

Hati ku kembali basah dan segar.

"Yati, maafkan aku."

"Tidak, Man. Sepatutnya akulah yang meminta maaf. Aku tahu bagaimana perasaan kau terhadap ku. Aku juga begitu. Cuma aku tersiksa kerana kau tidak berterus-terang pada ku. Man, katakanlah sekarang, kau mencintai ku. Atau kau mahu aku mengucapkannya terlebih dahulu."

"Yati, tidak cukupkah bukti dari apa yang ku tunjukkan selama ini ?" Aku seolah-olah tidak percaya pada kata-katanya.

"Man, katakanlah. Aku ingin mendengar dari mulut mu sendiri."

"Baiklah, Yati. Aku memang mencintai mu. Cinta dengan sepenuh hati. Tapi bagi ku bukanlah kata-kata itu yang menandakan cinta ku. Apakah sikap ku selama setahun sejak pertemuan itu masih tak kau fahami ?"

"Oh... Man, kalaulah kau ucapkan dari dulu lagi, kita tidak akan menyiksa diri begini."

Lalu perpisahan yang terjadi hampir setahun itu dijalin semula. Pertemuan yang lain diukir lagi. Tidak seperti pertemuan-pertemuan yang lalu, pertemuan kali ini bukan lagi merupakan pertemuan antara dua sahabat.

ku rindu rasanya pulang,
berteduh dirumah kalbu yang menenteramkan
meletakkan ribuan ton beban kecemasan;
hanya diri mengigil digerbang pagar
menatap kepada gelap sang harap

Badai telah menyapu rumahku,
dimana ruh kebahagiaan lahir dari ketiadaan dulu
Demikian juga pemukiman hatiku
atapnya porak poranda
Aku telah terlalu lama tersesat
terdampar di gurun gersang
Yang hanya berisi mimpi mimpi
buah dari kebingungan sang otak mencerna kejadian demi kejadian

Aku rindu rasanya pulang,
Ke rumah dimana selalu kutemukan cinta sebagai persembahan
Tapi sekarang berganti sudah
menjadi cerita menyakitan
Yang tak sanggup kutebus hanya dengan semiliar puisi gubahan hati

Kemana harus kutempuh jalan?
Ah aku telah kehilangan jejak kenangan

Setelah lama waktu itu ditinggalkan
Kita cuba mengembalikan
Pada jarak yang memisahkan
Kerana kita tidak lagi sehaluan
Tetapi segalanya tinggal sepi
Kecuali waktu yang berlalu itu
Telah kita tinggalkan jauh
Bersama nostalgia

.... Pada Harapan dan Impian Lalu ....
