Barnsley capture Macken from Rams
Barnsley have signed Derby County striker Jon Macken for an undisclosed "six-figure" fee.
The 30-year-old scored three goals in 11 appearances in a recent loan spell at Oakwell in the autumn, before he was recalled by his parent club. But having started just four league games for Derby in nearly a year there, he has now made the move permanent. The Republic of Ireland international has put pen to paper on a contract running until the summer of 2009. Macken began his career as a trainee at Manchester United but without breaking into their first team, and played for Preston, Manchester City, Crystal Palace and Ipswich before joining Derby on 31 January 2007, just before the transfer window closed

Striker Nardiello back at Oakwell
|
Barnsley have re-signed striker Daniel Nardiello until the end of the season.
Nardiello was loaned out to the Tykes by Manchester United between 2003 and 2005 before he signed a two-year deal with the Yorkshire club in July 2005. The Wales international, 25, joined Queens Park Rangers for free last summer but has played only eight times. "It was a very tough decision in summer and I know it upset a lot of people. Some supporters will not be happy to see me back," he told the club website.

Barnsley v Colchester: Preview
English League Championship | 19:45 UK - Oakwell Stadium | | |
| |
Barnsley's new signing Jon Macken is expected to go straight into the starting line-up for the visit of Colchester.
Macken, who spent two months on loan at Oakwell at the end of last year, scoring three goals in 11 appearances, could partner new loan signing Daniel Nardiello in attack.
Winger Martin Devaney will also boost manager Simon Davey's squad after missing the FA Cup win at Southend through illness and Marciano Van Homoet is expected to shake off a calf injury.
The Dutch defender was forced off after the hour-mark at Roots Hall and replaced by Rob Kozluk, who would step in again if Van Homoet fails to make it.
Barnsley are hoping to halt their recent slide down the table after failing to win any of their last eight league matches.
Colchester boss Geraint Williams welcomes back midfielder Kevin Watson for the clash.
Watson returns after over a month out with a calf problem and played over an hour for the reserves against Norwich last week.
Ex-England forward Teddy Sheringham and club skipper Karl Duguid also featured for the second string and could be in line for a recall after being left out of the draw at Bristol City last time out.
Defender Pat Baldwin will face a late fitness test on a knee injury before a decision is made on whether he will travel to Oakwell.
Aidan Davison is still recovering from an operation on his troublesome shoulder but a goalkeeper crisis has been averted as Dean Gerken has fully recovered from the knock which forced him off against Bristol City. |

h&w = 2 gol

teori matematikus:
jika barnsley > h&w dan h&w = 2,
maka barnsley > 2!!!! |
