Transnational Filming of Lian Ai Bing Fa
Korean Director Gasped with Admiration at Shanghai's Beautiful Scenery
China-Korea co-filmed grand production Lian Ai Bing Fa will commence shooting in Shanghai soon and reporters learnt that Korean director Li Min Che, who rose to prominence after his successful directing of Successful Story of A Bright Girl, is confirmed to direct this romantic love comedy. It looks like Lian Ai Bing Fa, with the assembly of many big-shots, is indeed a drama deserving to be awaited with anticipation.
Transnational boundary filming in Shanghai and Seoul
Recently, on a secret trip to Shanghai to do scenery selection, Director Li Min Che accepted an exclusive interview. He told the reporters that it was the first time collaborating with China's TV drama team so he himself felt delighted. Presently, according to what Director Lee revealed, the script of Lian Ai Bing Ba has been completed, and all preparatory work is progressing in an orderly manner. What really amazed him was that he was very satisfied with the various scenic locations he visited, and Shanghai thoroughly fitted the needs of the drama plot. " Shanghai is very beautiful, especially its night scenery," he repeatedly told his Chinese counterpart, who accompanied him on location visits, that it was a worthwhile trip made. It is known that as the story of Lian Ai Bing Fa involves both Seoul, Korea and Shanghai, China, so a transnational filming of the drama will be made in these two cities.
Kim Jeong Hoon "Cohabits" in the Drama
Though the drama script is kept a secret from the media at the current stage, Director Lee Min Che let slip his tongue unwittingly under the reporters' repeated inquiries. "The most difficult part to this scene selection trip is finding the right house for the male and female leads to stay." A reporter continued probing," You mean the two of them? Is it that Kim Jeong Hoon is going to cohabit with the female lead in the drama?" Obviously, Director Lee was reluctant to answer this question." Ha-ha, they are merely living under the same roof in the story." The reporter made another attempt." Are they partners in marriage? Or just living together as in Full House?" Facing the baffled reporters, Director Lee firmly remained tightlipped and kept saying," We've to keep it under wraps for now." Though this is the case, one thing is for certain, Kim Jeong Hoon is going to begin "a life of cohabitation" with the female lead in the drama.
All Drama OST Music Made By Korean Team
According to Director Lee Min Che's introduction, for this collaboration work with China's side, the two production crews will divide the workload on the basis of their specialties to merge together each side抯 strong points, in an effort to create a "classic example" of China-Korea co-production.
The reason that China viewers enjoy watching Korean dramas, apart from their intricate plots of love which touches people, most feel that Korean music is the "secret weapon" to their success, as music that fits the theme of the plot strikes a chord with the TV viewers most easily, a "tear-bomb" in the real sense. Director Lee told the reporters that the Lian Ai Bing Fa's OST will be Korean-made original music in its entirety, ensuring that China viewers will truly be moved with emotions.
