Just saw this movie. It's really awesome. Not boring at all. Reti tgk citer ke x? And I don't know why but alot of people said Beyonce's acting aren't great in this movie. They are fu^kin' wrong. Beyonce is amazing! And I'm not saying that cause I love Beyonce so much, bias or whatever, it's the truth! But of course Jennifer Hudson steal the show, she's the BEST in this movie. Her acting are superb, she's no doubt deserves the nomination at Golden Globe and win. I really hope she wins at Oscar too. Okay, enough about J-Hud but Beyonce blow me away. Her acting has so much improve since her previous movie. Actually, she deserves some nomination too in this movie for Supporting Actress or whatever. And I think Beyonce is the main female cast in this movie too. We see alot of her than J-Hud.
But yeah overall, amazing film. I love it! J-Hud is the BEST in this movie, but Beyonce is my GIRL forever. ;D |

Masa movie ni keluar, Lucky tak teringin pun nak tengok
mungkin pasal tak berapa minat dgn Beyonce, jadi tak rasa excited
tapi bila baca ttg Jen Hudson menang award, terus teringin nak tengok, LOL
& suprisingly, movie ni better drp yg Lucky sangka
though masih tak sebagus filem The Temptation (hell, that's the best)
lagu-lagu no komen, mmg superb
lakonan Beyonce biasa saja, some part tak berapa convincing
tapi flawless masa nyanyi lagu Listen, sampai ulang byk kali part tu, hehe
suka simplicity scene tu, hanya dlm studio
tapi bole rasa ketegangan antara Deena & Curtis thru the song & her performance
ttg Jen pulak, dah menang award tu
tandanya lakonan dia bagus la kan
rating, Lucky bagi 3.8/5
for the great songs & cos I love Jamie Foxx, hehe

Best la cite ni... I ni dah lama tunggu utk Movie kelua kat Malaysia. Masa Original airing kat US Decemeber. Skrg masuk kat Malaysia Feb pulak... I dah download movie tu dan rasa kesmoa org yg lakon kat dalam Movie Dreamgirls ni mmg best.
Lakonan Beyonce memang dah improve byk!... Byk expression yg I tak sangka dia akan bagi kat dalam movie sini. Way to go Beyonce...

Lakonan Jamie Foxx...dah ambik Oscar dah... biarkan PRO jadi PRO la

Overall, nice movie...should watch! Please watch it with an open-mind though... kalo you don't like Moulin Rouge/Phantom of the Opera/Chicago, my personal advice don't go

Ok, so before you get all excited to watch Dreamgirls since it's like nominated for various Academy Awards and won some Oscars and Golden Globe and whatnot, please bear in mind this movie is a musicale. And because of this, it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea.But I digress, cause it's certainly MY cup of tea. Loveeeeeeeeee musicals! My Fair Lady, Chicago and French's 8 Femme to name some.
May I start by saying, the line up for this movie is practically shining and blinking with dazzling stars? Jamie Foxx, Beyonce Knowels and Eddie Murphy. Mix that with a few more talents and not to forget new comer to the industry (who walked away with 2 Best Supporting Actress Award with her debut film), American Idol Finalist, Jennifer Hudson...you don't have to know the synopsis to know this movie will blow your breath away.
Literally.
Why? The songs, man, the songs. The singing, the dancing, the voices! The voices...I don't have words to describe the voices. Powerful. I think Hudson's got a more powerful instrument than some of those already famous ones.
The storyline? Neverending tension that makes you sit on the edge of your seat till the end. The good kind of tension. The kind that will get your attention. The kind that won't make you tear your eyes away from the screen.
But wait, before you dash off to the nearest cinema, might I remind you again, it's a musical. If you can't stand constant singing, people breaking into songs every 5 seconds...don't go. Seriously. I had a friend dozed off while watching Dutch's Nurse, Nurse. But if you are a fan, it's a definite GO! =) |

saw it 2 weeks ago. Download. Clear gila! during the 1st 30mins, aku tgk dgn husband,.. pastu dia pi sambung keje download movies byk2 utk aku, including the latest season & episodes of Desperate Housewives.
I love musicals.. so l love this one, but not as much as i love Phantom of The Opera. yess.. the songs are brilliant. Terus search & download fm Limewire. (oh i love this file sharing thingy!!)
I enjoy this movie more than Chicago. |
