This verse shows that the Quran could not be divine. A human being gets only half his chromosomes from his father.
In other words, the sperm does not make a person. A sperm needs to fused with an egg from the female to be a full person.
Just one verse and I already proved that this Quran science is nothing but a hoax and the Quran could not be divine.

The developing disciplines of genetics and molecular biology have scientifically validated the accuracy of this information given by the Qur'an. It is now understood that sex is determined by the sperm cells from the male, and that the female has no role in this process.
The Y chromosome carries characteristics of masculinity, while the X chromosome carries those of femininity. In the mother's egg, there is only the X chromosome, which determines female characteristics. In the semen from the father, there are sperms that include either X or Y chromosomes. Therefore, the sex of the baby depends on whether the sperm fertilising the egg contains an X or Y chromosome. In other words, as stated in the verse, the factor determining the sex of the baby is the semen, which comes from the father. This knowledge, which could not have been known at the time when the Qur'an was revealed, is evidence to the fact that the Qur'an is the Word of Allah.
Chromosomes are the main elements in determining sex. Two of the 46 chromosomes that determine the structure of a human being are identified as the sex chromosomes. These two chromosomes are called "XY" in males, and "XX" in females, because the shapes of the chromosomes resemble these letters. The Y chromosome carries the genes that code for masculinity, while the X chromosome carries the genes that code for femininity. |

this is the problem of the person who blindly interprate Al quran like you.. In order to interprate Al Quran correctly someone needs to uunderstand the meaning of the Quran both the superficial meaning and deep meaning.. you cannot easily take one part of the verse and just interprate it because all the verse in Al Quran related to each other..
To answer your question.. plese read again carefully the meaning of that verse.. Yes.. you are right.. a baby gets both chromosomes from mom and dad ( sperm and egg).. but look back at the verse.. is it stated there that human is created by Allah just by semen? mane ade.. ko nak cakap tak baca dulu betul-betul.. |

Not only was this false science shown in 75:36-37, the same mistake was repeated again in verses 76:2, 32:7-8, 53:45-46.
The entire Quran is wrong on this very simple fact. So how can Quran possibly be divine? |

it did mentioned about eggs as fertiliser and sperm alone can't make human. |

It was mentioned in detail after every verse by the writer, btw Quran is not entirely to explain everythings about the making of human. Don't just take women's eggs as an issue there's many more evidence to take count..i.e..In Surat az-Zumar 6, it is pointed out that man is created in the mother's womb in three distinct regions. Indeed, modern embryology has revealed that the baby's embryological development takes place in three distinct regions in the mother's womb.
Quran is the guidence, if everythings explained in so much detail without us to seek the truth or go extra miles...no scientist then, no reason for us to work hard in this world, there will be no wrong religions or bad peoples.......they will be only heaven as no one to be judged. So why are we here in this world?......

It still does not mention the egg anywhere.
The Quran consistently repeated the old mistaken idea of human coming solely from the sperm as I have proven so. |
