selalunya polis x akan reveal sampailah suspek dibawa ke mahkamah untuk didakwa.
ni siap suruh cari kes rasuah yg libatkan doc tentera dan kevin tu.
mcm nak suruh org percaya yg doc tentera ni la yang buat.

Doctor suspect no longer army man

KUALA LUMPUR — The army doctor, the prime suspect in the gruesome murder of deputy public prosecutor Anthony Kevin Morias, had gone AWOL last year.
Armed Forces chief Tan Sri General Zulkifeli Mohd Zin said the suspect, who worked at a military hospital in Kuala Lumpur, had not reported for duty and that his name was struck off from the military list.
“He was relieved of his duties after he was charged with bribery in 2013. We initiated an internal investigation but were unable to complete after he went AWOL,” Zulkifeli said.
“I’ve not seen the report (of the internal investigation). Also, we cannot take action against him as he has several pending court cases.”
The 52-year-old doctor, with the rank of colonel, claimed trial after he was charged at the Shah Alam Sessions Court in 2013 with two counts of bribery involving RM700,000 by recommending medical companies to supply medicine and disposable medical tools to the hospital he worked at.
The doctor, who also ran two private diagnostic laboratories, was charged last year with unlawfully engaging in trade and dishonest misappropriation of hospital property. He claimed trial to the charges. Morais was the prosecutor in both cases.
“His name has been removed from active service and listed as AWOL,” Zulkifeli said.
Morais’s partially-decomposed body was on Wednesday found entombed in cement inside an oil drum in a storm drain in USJ 1, Subang Jaya. He had gone missing on Sept 4.
Bukit Aman CID director Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh had then told reporters revenge was a possible motive as police had evidence Morais’s abduction was linked to a case involving the doctor who had allegedly taken bribes from a private medical supply company.

The Malaysian Indians Progressive Association (Mipas) expresses its condolences to the family of Malaysia’s missing Attorney-General’s Chambers Appellate and Trial Division deputy head Anthony Kevin Morais who was found dead on Wednesday (Sept 16th) with his body stuffed in a concrete-filled drum. Based on the chronology of the case since his abduction on Sept 4, it shall be deemed to be gangster-style, high-profile and involves public interest.

Mipas expresses its thanks and appreciate the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), which acted aggressively and sped up the investigation on the disappearance of the victim until his body was found. We the rakyat of Malaysia give credence to the authorities to drag the real criminals to justice as soon as possible, and no one is above the law.

Without being caught in the speculation, Mipas hopes that the government will take seriously the brutal murder of Anthony Kevin Morais.

Almost all cases before this involving individuals such as Teoh Beng Hock, Ahmad Sarbaini Mohamed Hussain Najadi were pushed towards political issues. Therefore Mipas hopes that the authorities will carry out their duties without fear and favour so that such cases can be dealt with transparently and with integrity. Finally the truth remains, overcoming falsehoods.

Mipas is also mindful of the country’s spiritual need for the mercy and blessing of God Almighty, and that the nation remains peaceful and harmonious.

KUALA LUMPUR: Suspek utama yang ditahan berhubung kes pembunuhan Timbalan Ketua Bahagian Perbicaraan dan Rayuan di Jabatan Peguam Negara, Anthony Kevin Morais, dipercayai mempunyai kaitan dengan satu perbicaraan di Shah Alam, dua minggu lalu.  


Ia berdasarkan kenyataan Pengarah Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah, Bukit Aman, Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh, ketika ditanya wartawan mengenai motif pembunuhan itu, hari ini.  "Motif kes ini, anda boleh rujuk perbicaraan di Mahkamah Sesyen Shah Alam, dua minggu lalu mengenai pendakwaan seorang pegawai tentera berpangkat doktor yang terbabit dalam kes rasuah," katanya.


Semakan mendapati, ia berkemungkinan besar merujuk kepada perbicaraan seorang doktor berpangkat kolonel yang berkhidmat dengan angkatan tentera atas dua tuduhan rasuah.

Tertuduh yang berusia 50 tahun ketika itu, dihadapkan ke Mahkamah Sesyen Khas Shah Alam pada 9 September 2013 atas dua tuduhan rasuah membabitkan wang sogokan RM700,000.  Bagaimanapun, dia mengaku tidak bersalah. Pendakwaan dilakukan mengikut Seksyen 17(a) dan Seksyen 16(a) Akta Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah 2009 yang memperuntukkan hukuman penjara maksimum 20 tahun dan denda lima kali ganda nilai suapan. Morais mengendalikan pendakwaan kes bagi pihak SPRM.
