RICARDO CARVALHO is the latest Chelsea star to have a bust-up with Big Phil Scolari.
Carvalho disagreed with the decision to switch to zonal marking at set-pieces.

Boss Scolari then dropped the defender for Wednesday抯 FA Cup win at Southend.

The row follows incidents with Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba in the last two weeks.

Carvalho is believed to have spoken to Scolari in the days before the tie and said he thought a change to a zonal system was wrong.

But Scolari insisted on the switch after seeing his side concede too many goals at set-pieces.

Lampard: Stop crying and be a man!

Midfielder Frank Lampard has issued a stern warning to his Chelsea teammates after the club's recent slump.

The Blues have been in turmoil with the most recent damage caused by a 3-0 mauling at the hands of title rivals Manchester United.

Manager Luis Felipe Scolari has been publicly vocal about his players' lack of mental strength and some of his men are sulking about their time on the bench.

Vice-captain Lampard who has been one of the mainstay despite the club's problems is on Scolari's side when he said: "The manager going public with his criticism is not a problem.

"If you want to cry just because the manager says you are playing below par, you need to look at yourself. We are all men and just have to accept it."

Scolari blasted his men before their midweek FA Cup replay against Southend and it could have been far worse had Chelsea not recovered from an early goal by the English minnows to seal a 4-1 victory.

Left-back Ashley Cole also came out in support of his manager when he said: "A lot of people were trying to blame the manager - which was wrong.

"We were the ones letting down the fans and the manager. We have let players go and conceded goals.

"We have to get rid of the mistakes if we are to push on and win more."

Chelsea take on Tony Pulis' Stoke City at Stamford Bridge this Saturday and will need all three points if they want to stay in the title race.
