MH370: MAS nafi juruterbang ditukar saat akhir

SEPANG: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) hari ini menafikan spekulasi yang mengatakan Kapten Zaharie Ahmad Shah telah ditukarkan di saat akhir sebagai juruterbang pesawat MH370 yang hilang 8 Mac lalu.
"Itu tak betul.. sebenarnya (ia seperti) di roster, seperti yang di jadual," kata Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulannya, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya dalam satu sidang media pada Isnin.
Sebuah foto telah dimuatnaik di laman Facebook pada 8 Mac oleh Noor 'Olya Dollah yang mendakwa bahawa terdapat perubahan jadual di saat-saat akhir untuk anak kapal Boeing 777-200 itu.
Dalam mesej tersebut, wanita itu menyatakan penghargaannya kepada Allah bahawa suaminya, Anas Mazlin yang pada mulanya dijadualkan untuk terbang laluan dari Kuala Lumpur ke Beijing pada tengah malam 8 Mac, telah digantikan di saat akhir.
Dalam sebuah laporan oleh The Malay Mail Online hari ini, pihak MAS mengaku terdapat juruterbang yang bernama Anas Mazlin.
Bagaimanapun MAS menafikan bahawa terdapat perubahan dalam jadual yang mengatakan Anas sepatutnya menerbangkan pesawat MH370 itu.
Menurut MAS, Zaharie bersama pembantu juruterbang, Fariq Abdul Hamid telah dimaklumkan tentang jadual mereka tujuh hari sebelum penerbangan dari KL ke Beijing itu.

Kalau mahu eorcaya bulat2 statement mereka...hishamuddin pun pernah cakap...yg di lahad datu itu bukan serangan pengganas walhal hujung pistol telah berada dikepala penduduk sabah  Terlalu banyak menipu rakyat..akhernya begitu sukar untuk mempercayainya apa yg keluar dari mulut mereka

Yes, Mr Palmer could be right, but it still leaves a few questions:
- Plane turned exactly at point after saying goodbye to Malaysia and before saying hello to Vietnam.
- Plane crossed the Malaysia peninsula almost over the Malay-Thai border. Would that be the reason that neither of the countries sent in any military jets to see what unidentified flying object was crossing their territory? Or was the plane just at that moment too high?
- Plane's last location was in the street between Malaysia and Indonesia. Did it get to the southern Indian ocean over Indonesian territory without alarming their jets since it was too high or so or did it fly all the way around Sumatra avoiding detection?
If you wanted to make a plane disappear, this is what you would have done. But why? You could thus also ask: who or what was on-board that had to disappear without raising questions?
Hopefully they will find plane and all passengers alive somewhere in Asia. This is a very weird story, thus anything can happen. Wish the families of the passengers all the strength they need to live through this horrible period.

You make some great points and ask some great questions. I would like to add some I know a little bit about.
1. I agree on the turnaround point scenario. The aircraft was given clearance to switch over to Ho Chi Minh City ATC controllers at which point the last radio communication was made and contact lost.
2. With as much air traffic as travels that corridor containing Phuket and Penang, there are lots and lots of daily air traffic around that area. Airliners are not exactly the largest concern of a military radar operator. They are looking for unusual signals like those of high-speed fighter aircraft or large bombers. They know what airliners look like and typical routes that are flown. Flight 370 virtually blended in as another face in the crowd. Whether that was deliberate or coincidental we don't know yet. Also, the military response to a civilian problem likely would have provoked military tensions among the nearby neighbors who suddenly see high-speed fighter aircraft approaching their airspace. They would no doubt scramble their own fighter aircraft in response. I use to see this all the time when I was in the USAF between the US and Cuba when either flew too close to each others' airspace with military aircraft. |
