Jose Mourinho yesterday poured scorn on Luiz Felipe Scolari's Chelsea when he claimed that the team that lost 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday were unrecognisable from the side that he built during his time there.
"I didn't see Chelsea," the Internazionale coach said. "I saw people from Chelsea before the match, at half-time and after the match. But I didn't see Chelsea on the pitch. I only saw Manchester United."
BIG Phil Scolari抯 job is on the line in the wake of an astonishing bust-up with Nicolas Anelka.
The Blues board were stunned by Chelsea抯 shocking display in Sunday抯 3-0 defeat at Manchester United which left them four points behind leaders Liverpool.
And we can reveal the Blues boss has clashed with French striker Anelka, who is fuming at being dumped on the bench for the last three games. The two rowed at training with Scolari telling Anelka he would start at Old Trafford only if he agreed to play on the left.
But the sulky Frenchman, the Premier League抯 14-goal top scorer, refused and demanded to be used down the middle.
A Chelsea insider confirmed: 揘othing is going right at the moment and there are suddenly a lot of questions being asked about Mr Scolari抯 management style.
Former Inter coach Roberto Mancini will not be joining Chelsea any time soon, as his agent Maurizio De Giorgis reveals all to Goal.com.
Mancini has been out of work since he received the sack from the Nerazzurri in May. A number of reports in both Italy and England have linked him to Chelsea as well as Manchester City.
This morning, Sportmediaset had Mancini down for a possible role with the London-based club, but that seems unlikely.
His agent has exclusively told Goal.com that neither club have come forward.
"I would know everything and I can tell you with certainty that no club has come forward for Mancini," De Giorgis told Goal.com.
"We have not had any contact with Chelsea, Manchester City or any other English club for that matter.
"For now no-one has been in touch and therefore all this news is unfounded."
Although there has been no news from either club, the agent would welcome any interest and he is hoping the Premier League giants come knocking on Mancini's door.
"I certainly hope that they [Chelsea] come forward, but like I said, nothing so far.
"If they call then we will answer them obviously."
The Independent carried a report last week claiming Mancini was dining with Manchester City, but De Giorgis has rubbished the talk coming from England.
"We were not in England last week. In the past we have been because Mancini has been studying English," added the agent.
"I can tell you for sure that Mancini is in Italy at the moment. He has been in Italy for quite some time.
"It's impossible that he was seen in another place by other people. These reports are untrue and I can assure you this.
"You never know what happens in football. We could recieve a call from someone in the next few hours.
"However, this is the truth, no contact with any team, English or otherwise.
"Mancini is still under contract with Inter who are still paying him and we haven't taken into consideration any other club."
