A DEVICE could have been put in luggage in the hold and set off by a timer or remote control, or carried on board by a suicide bomber.
BUT: Security at Sharm el-Sheikh is comparable to European standards, with Egypt determined to protect its vital tourist trade in the Red Sea resort.
Mechanical failure
THE Airbus may have developed a sudden catastrophic fault so serious that the pilot had no time to put out a Mayday call or attempt an emergency landing.
BUT: The Airbus A321 is one of the safest planes in the air today boasting an exemplary record.
One expert said yesterday: “They just don’t fall out of the sky.”
Ground missile
A GROUND-to-air missile fired by IS rebels in the Sinai Desert could have brought down the passenger jet, explaining why it fell apart in mid air.
BUT: IS and related terror groups operating in the area are not known to have any long-range SAM missiles.
Such advanced hardware would have been spotted by spy satellites.
Aerial footage of site where Russia’s A321 crashed in Sinai, Egypt, released
The first video shot over the site of the Kolavia flight 7K9268 crash which took the lives of 224 people in Egypt Sinai has emerged.
The footage by Russia’s VGTRK channel shows the area in Sinai scattered with the burnt remains of the crashed passenger jet which had been taking holidaymakers from Egypt to Russia.
antara komen "pakar aviasi dan insinyur2 penerbangan" yg mek sempat baca tadi:
From all information presented so far, the most probable cause is a technical malfunction. Anything else would have been reported
by the pilot. I think there was a problem that produced a rapid decompression and / or a malfunction of the horizontal stabilizer. Airbus is also notorious for its computers that sometimes 'fought' against the pilots. The airplanes can break in midair from overspeed too. But we'll know for sure what really happened after both black boxes will be read. This investigation will be exemplary and will show the world how quick and thorough a final report can be when you want to tell the truth. As opposed to MH17 politically motivated investigation.
-horizontal stabilizer kaput (tu yg menjunam tuh)
-komputer rosak
-terlebih had laju
kalau nak baca komentar2 insinyiur cerdek sket pergi jah kat airliners.net sebab sini mmg ramai orang aviasi yg cikcur, lagi pun nak post kena bayar iya.
bukan free forum gitu
some of them memang betul pakar aviasi pun macam gerry soejatman itu yg ada dalam air crash investigation untuk pesawat AK indon itu.
kalau kat sana sekarang, antara probable mereka jangka sama ada kena planted bomb atau structure failure di sebabkan kerosakan tail yg dolu2 sebab pesawat itu pernah kena tail strike masa landing di cairo many years back.
iya sis, takat ini teori bom yg paling terkehadapan
tapi macam agak hhhmmmmm juga sbb tahap keselamatan penerbangan kini sudah puluh2 kali ganda ketat selepas kejadian lockerbie dulu, hakak sudah skolah rendah tika itu, sis mungkin masih isap kopek...sejak itu mana ada dah kan, pesawat terhempas angkara bom dlm pesawat?
Experts fear IS bomb most likely cause of Russian crash
EXPERTS believe an IS bomb “most likely” blew apart the Russian jet that crashed in Egypt killing 224 people.
They say the fact that the Airbus A321 flight broke in two at 31,000ft, and that there was no Mayday call from the captain, both point towards a terrorist bomb.
Professor Michael Clarke, of defence think tank the Royal United Services Institute, said: “Early reports said it split into two.
“It suggests a catastrophic failure, not a mechanical failure, but perhaps an explosion on board.
“It is much more likely to have been a bomb than a missile fired from the ground.”
IS fanatics operating in the Sinai region are claiming responsibility for downing the jet, killing all 224 on board.
They have released unverified video footage of a jet blowing up in the sky. Egyptian investigators yesterday fuelled the bomb speculation by revealing there was no distress call from the Metrojet plane, which had taken off from Sharm el-Sheikh.
If it is a bomb, it is feared President Putin will order all-out war on IS, launching Russian ground troops against the fanatics in Syria.
Russia yesterday continued to insist a technical fault probably caused the crash and ordered Metrojet to ground its Airbus A321 fleet for checks.
But military analyst Paul Beaver, adviser to the House of Commons Defence Committee, said yesterday: “My hunch is that this was a terrorist bomb.
ini "pakar" yg dari belah amareka laaaa yg kata...
00:00 GMT The Russian Foreign Ministry warns that it is too early to discuss the possible course of events that led to the tragedy until the investigation into the crash is completed.
“How can we talk about any versions, when only now our experts began to work directly at the crash site?” the ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Rossiya 1 TV channel.

Zakharova urged patience and encouraged the following of facts rather than believing any speculation surrounding the tragedy. She said that Egyptian authorities are showing their full support and cooperation.
“There is every chance, and everything is done to ensure that we know the truth,” Zakharova said.
