Lotion, cream, gel, serum, essence, liquid, mousse, or balm just the marketing terms cosmetics companies attribute to their portions for marketing strategy. As long as the product contains state-of-the-art ingredients, the ingredients that make the product a gel, cream, lotion, serum, or what ever they call, are inconsequential except as they relate to your skin type.
As a general rule, those with oily or combination skin will prefer lighter-weight lotions, or gels, or serums, or liquids. Those with dry skin usually prefer creams or heavier formulations to make up what their oil glands dont provide. And those with blemish-prone skin generally do better with moisturizers that have thinner consistency..
that means, the ingredient is what counts.. all of them are moisturizers. But of course SA will explain that you need serum, essence, day moisturizer, night moisturizer, cream, eye cream and more.. which is just marketing strategy - (source: Dont go to the cosmetics counter without me)

dulu nak pakai serum, so cari info n berdasarkan apa yg sya baca serum bukan "wajib".....UV protection paling penting..to me lah hahhahaa |

Sebelum membeli serum, kamu mesti tahu apakah jenis kulit kamu ( adakah kulit kamu jenis berminyak, sensitif, kering, mature, atau kombinasi berminyak/ kering, sensitif/ kering, berminyak/ mature dlll) dengan membuat analysis secara mendalam sebelum membuat keputusan utk membeli serum sesuka hati apabila direkemen oleh kawan. Apa yg go go nyatakan adalah betul bahawa bukan semua org hasilnya sama. Kerana itulah, pilih lah serum yg bersesuaian utk kulit kamu.  |

sy rs sesuai le ngn kulit sy sbb dh lulus syrat hihihi
tpkn sy learn something kita hanya tahu hasilnya sesuai

hi3.. baya pn beli dgn kak amy..muke baya pimple byk sgt2..so kak amy suggest gune ceutical acne serum nih..kaler hijau+wangi tau..bole digunakan selama 3 day jek...now tinggal 2 botol je..
wawa bole tya kak amy serum pe yg sesuai tuk kulit wawa..sbb serum byk jenis...
baya suke dgn kulit baya sekarang...tngu abis serum ceutical acne ni iyer..pas ni nk pakai pe plk iyer???
