Baru balik dari Hanoi ...... ..... nanti Ina updatekan sikit2 utk forumers ye....
Accomodation
Ina tinggal kat Darling Backpackers hoteladdress - 3 Thanh Ha Lane Hoan Kiem, 16 Trung Yen Lane, Vietnam.
Semalam USD 10 per person (no service charge or tax imposed), boleh bayar dgn VND (Dong). USD 1 = VND 16000.
Ina tak book melalui internet tapi Ina call. Di nasihatkan kalau sampai malam sila buat advance booking sbb takut hotel full. Memang agak ramai mat salleh backpacking kat Hanoi.
Dapat private room with two super single bed, own bathroom with hot water shower, sink, toilet, air-conditioned, tv and mini fridge.
Internet free tp bukan dlm bilik, kat bawah ada beberapa PC duduklah kat situ guna internet.
Inclusive breakfast dia dapat roti bagette with butter and jam and choice of tea or coffee.
Orang dia quite helpful and friendly.
Hotel ni mmg budget hotel, dekat sgt dgn Dong Xuan mkt, dlm 2-3 minit jalan kaki. Tapi depan hotel ni mmg kotor gila sbb pagi2 ada wet market jd akan nampak lah siput babi, cacing, ikan hidup, sayur, buah2an dll.
Tour
Hotel tu boleh arrange tour of your choice, depends you nak ke mana. Ina ambil Hanoi City Tour (one day) harga USD 20 per person include entrance fee and lunch (boleh ambil vegetarian lunch). Pergi Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh抯Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple.
Ada tour ke Ha Long Bay tp kami tak ikut. Tapi kalau berminat ada yg day travel punya package dlm USD 20 per person. Trip dia dlm 3.5 jam satu jalan jd dlm 7 jam dlm bus.
Shopping
Dong Xuan Market - ada souveniers, barang imitation, bag sulam, rantai etc.
Hang Da market - banyak kain2 tp macam nak mati aje tmpt ni.
Sepanjang jalan Hang Gai, Hang Dao banyak barang sulam. - lagi best banding Dong Xuan market.
Kat Hanoi ada banyak barang China sbb distance dia dari China dlm 100 km aje. FYI, peniaga di Dong Xuan Mkt ambil barangan sulaman dia from Hang Gai / Hang Dao street jd some embroidered goods lg murah kat these streets.
Makan
Hanya satu aje restaurant halal kat Hanoi iaitu Nisa Restaurant kat 90 Nguyen Huu Huan Street. Owner Pak Ben Taat Hj Alias, email - [email protected]; tel (84-4)9261859; Makanan dia harganya reasonable dan sedap.
Restaurant lain walaupun tulis Halal, sebenarnya tak halal, restaurant tu milik India beragama hindu.

anne, better bwk USD jek....
sampai sana nanti baru tukar ke dong.
kat KL ni susah nak cari dong sebab dong ni tak laku kat luar vietnam, pastu exchange rate dia pun tak bagus.
cuaca dia mcm malaysia jek, pastu kalau nak shopping tu, pegi la area ben thanh market tu.
macam2 ada jual. yg penting duitnya saja |

ada gak yg tak accept USD, tgk tempat..
kalau shopping kat ben thanh tu, untuk hotel, teksi semua accept USD. exchange rate utk USD berbeza in the sense of, lagi besar value duit tu, ie USD100, lagi mahal.
so kalau u bawak duit USD10 sekeping, n USD 100 sekeping, duit yg USD100 tu exchange rate dia better la..
tapi tak beza sgt pun.
skrg ni average exchange rate USD1 = 16000 dong.
kat sana u boleh tukar kat airport, ataupun kat bank, kedai emas, etc.
tak susah nak tukar USD kat sana.
bab communication plak, kalau u stay kat area town tu, takde masalah la...lain la kalau u masuk area kampung2 dia ke, maybe la susah sket.
setakat nak shopping kat town tu, naik teksi ke, ok kot....tapi simple english laa |
