tak sangka ada topik ni.. juz wanna share gambar-gambar masa haji 2006/2007 
teringin nak pergi lagi
Masjid Nabawi, with all its glory. We were there for 8 days. Madinah's development had been massive since the last time I went to umrah in 2003. The landscape had undergone key reconstruction with 5-stars hotels all around it. The weather is cold, with temperature between 10-20 degree Celcius. And yes, I had to wear sweater during Subuh prayer. Rasa macam pergi European countries pula 
Masjidil Haram, which housed the Kaabah (pic was taken in the morning). We were there for 40+ days. The weather is dry, I had coughing fits and colds. The building on the right is a hotel (Dar Al-Tawhid) and another building which is under construction is ZamZam Tower.
Friday, 29 December 2006: At Arafah, during wukuf. The Saudi government informed through news that the Hajj this year would be special. It is Haji Akbar (which occured once in 10 years only, for the wukuf day falls on Friday). 3 millions people went for Hajj this year, not the usual 2 millions.
Sunday, 31 December 2006: At Mina (the 3-day city in a year) on the 2nd day of jamrah stoning. The government had approved a 5-floor plan for the stoning of the jamrah. During the Hajj, only 2 floors finished construction, yet there is no incident reported during the stoning. The construction company (a Malaysian based co.) proposed a one way route to enter and exit the jamrah.
Monday, 1 January 2007: How easy it was to do the stoning, we even managed to snap a picture of one of the three jamrahs during our last day in Mina.
Monday, 8 January 2007: The second last day before we leave for Jeddah. We managed to snap a picture of the Muslims performing the tawaf at night (camera is a no-no inside the mosque). I went there to do tawaf sunat with dh, but realising how big the crowd was, we decided to iktikaf inside the mosque. The crowd during our tawaf wida' (on the next morning) counted 3/4 from the pic shown above. |

welcome limau nipi..really apriciate your picture..untung dapat haji akbar nie....wukuf jatuh pada hari jumaat...the crowd exceed the normal volume allowed..everybody waiting for this.... |

i remember all of us were elated when we watched the news (eventho we don't understand arabic)
tapi ramainya, masya Allah... biasanya kuota haji 2 juta orang
kalau haji akbar, 3 juta orang... imagine 1 million additional people
time haji akbar ni, biasa raja-raja dari seluruh dunia akan dpt invitation untuk join haji |

sebelum diumumkan tu, ada juga dengar pak arab dok soksek tepi jalan cakap "Akbar.. akbar".. tapi kita ni tak faham bahasa arab
cuma ada la juga berteka-teki itu |
