Chelsea boss Grant warns returning Lampard

Chelsea boss Avram Grant has warned Frank Lampard he will have to work hard to regain his place in the Blues engine room.

Lampard has been training with the squad this week, but unlike his predecessor, Grant does not believe in having 'untouchables' in his side and insists Lampard will have to fight for his place like everyone else.

"Every player needs to prove himself," explained Grant. "A player always fights for his place all the time.

"Jose thought there were untouchables but that was his opinion and he was the manager before.

"I told you when I came here there are no two managers all over the world who are the same. I have a different opinion."

1- Petr Cech: Reasonable game but could he have done better with the goal? -7/10.

2- Juliano Belletti: Good defending, good attacking - 7/10.

3- Alex: Could be an 8 but I partially blame him for the goal because he got nudged out of the way too easily - 7/10.
