last year, dia pergi sendiri.  sampai airport, ambil pekej tour agency dan lepas tamat jadual tour, dia terus ke ladang.  tak pakai working permit.  
tahun ni dia memang nak duduk lama jadi kalau ada agen boleh tolong, dia berminat.

andria kalau boleh tolong dia ke NZ, bagus jugak.  either as fruit picker atau tukang sembelih (dia target nak kerja ni sebab dah ada sijil tukang sembelih).

Tukang sembelih? Now i remember something. Kat OZ, ada satu tmpt ni very famous utk Muslim men pegi apply keje sebagai tukang sembelih.
Mostly yg keje kat sana ialah org2 Pakistan klu i x silap.
I ada tgk pic tmpt tu thn lepas, tapi i dah lupa nama tmptnya.
Klu ur friend rajin selak Forum Indon, kat sana dia leh dpt bnyk info camne nak keje kat OZ/UK.
Salah satu best Indon forum ialah Kaskus.

The reason i'm updating this thread is because I need the names of ALL of u guys yg benar2 SERIOUS (sahaja) yg nak join pegi NZ next year (or ASAP). Kindly PM me ur names (nick names pun xpe), contact no (hp if possible), email address (ensure it's VALID!), & ur YM ID or MSN ID (for YM conference). I'll give mine to u guys as well. I need this list URGENTLY so that i have some idea of how many ppl are going with me, & so that i can make the necessary preparations.

Once i have the list in my hand, i'll arrange for a meeting somewhere in KL so everyone involved can come & we can get to know each other, plus arrange whatever is necessary for our group. THIS IS VITAL. I'm sorry coz i'm not able to send pm to those who pmed me previously. I've lost most of the messages in my inbox. So if anyone yg penah PM me b4 informing that ur interested in going, please kindly PM me again with ur details as requested. I need to build this list ASAP.

Again, let me remind that this list is ONLY MEANT for SERIOUS ppl only. Pls don't pm me with ur details if ur not serious or not sure, as i don't want to have to sort out the list again & again. aku baru grad. dan tatau bila aku dapat sambung blajar lagi. dan dalam lingkungan ni aku sirius nak buat keja yg mudah. stakat fruitpicker ni sapa tanak
tapi nak kene modal 10k tu yg payah skit. pasport aku takde tapi boleh buat.
aku ingat keje ni bleh tros pegi je takyah nak daftar/bayar agensi2 pape

Memang boleh, tapi ada pros & cons.

Cons = kita kena cari keja sendiri bila sampai sana, tmpt tinggal sendiri, work permit kena apply sendiri, kena buat semuanya sendiri.
Utk yg baru 1st time pegi NZ, mcmana nak buat semua tu sendiri klu kita tak tau pun nak pegi mana? North Island? South Island?

Pros = Tanpa agents, maknanya takde org tgh = Jimat duit belanja.
Blh belajar berdikari klu berani & cekal hati.
Eliminate the risk of being cheated by unscrupulous agents (if u happen to meet them).

So, it really depends on what kind of a person u are.
Klu berani nak ambil risiko & pegi terus jer, tanpa persediaan (in terms of any job guarantee), then maybe blh pilih the Pros.
Utk yg nak the Cons, blh pilih pegi dgn agents. At least more safer & the work is guaranteed.

If i were to go on my own, I would probably choose the Pros coz i've just found an alternative to using agents.

Boleh.
Cuma masalahnya skg ni, ialah org2 yg kata berminat nak pegi bersama saya, sampai skg masih ramai yg blm beri nama & details pd saya utk update list.
So if this continues, and mereka nampak tak bersungguh2 utk pegi, saya terpaksa tinggalkan mereka dan pegi sendiri.
At least saya dah buka peluang ini & terpulang la nak ambil, atau tidak.
Malah as soon as persediaan saya dah lengkap, I won't wait anymore for anyone.

member aku dah bersiap-sedia pun.  lepas raya nanti, pergi berdua ke nz pasal lebih senang nak dapat permit, walaupun masih cari peluang nak ke aus.  diorang pergi sendiri-sendiri saja.  tapi kali ni nekad nak pergi full term, 6-9 bulan kot.

Klu ikut via agent, accomodation employer akan sediakan, but we still have to pay for it weekly.
Jika pegi sendiri tanpa agent, the RM10K & CC tu utk kemudahan & kepentingan kita sendiri, bukan utk agent.
Coz kita kena byr utk return air flight ticket, & immigration officer nak tgk kita ada cash x dlm tgn, ada CC x ?
Itu penting utk membolehkan those officers lbh percaya pd kita & membenarkan kita masuk as a tourist terlebih dulu.
Klu u nak pegi dgn cukup2 tambang tiket je, i x galakkan. Xnak u kena deport.
But it's up to u really. Klu nekad, redah jer. However u have to be responsible for ur ownself.

Maaf, I think I should have made my question more specific.
Let me rephrase. I meant, how is he going to apply for the work permit?
Coz if he's going to NZ, then he would only be eligible to apply for either a TRSE or a VOC work permit.
If he's going to Central Otago, I might be able to assist him by referring him to the right person for the right work permit.
That is, if he wants to work legally. But he must prepare for a Temporary Chest X-Ray Certificate if he intends to stay for more than 6 months.
If he only wants to stay for less than 6 months, then x perlu any health evidence docu.
Most probably I'd be going to Central Otago as well.

ok, nanti aku tanyakan kat dia.  pasal work permit tu, rasanya dia nak apply kat sana untuk 6 bulan.  tapi mungkin lepas tu dia akan continue extra 3 bulan, kalau ada jalan.
