The Daily Star Sunday says Wenger is eyeing unsettled Newcastle pair Obafemi Martins and Charles N'Zogbia. Wenger is a big fan of Nigeria international Martins, while N'Zogbia is keen to move to London and has been linked with the Gunners and North London rivals Tottenham.

Wenger: We can still win the double

Arsene Wenger is confident Arsenal will be crowned Premier League champions this season after Manchester United's slip up at Middlesbrough.

The Gunners are currently six points behind the champions in the table and dropped another two points at home to Liverpool on Saturday.

But United's failure to win at the Riverside on Sunday has reignited the title race and despite Chelsea also holding a three-point lead over his side, Wenger now firmly believes his team will reign supreme again.

"I still believe we will finish champions in the Premier League. The result at Boro helped a lot," he said.

"If they had won, I would have thought we could not win the league but, now, I still believe we'll do it.

"We did dip recently, it's true. We can't deny that. But football is strange sometimes.

"It is possible we can win the last five game. Of course, I said that before the Liverpool game as well, but I said five games and one draw would make it.

"It is compulsory that we win at Old Trafford if we want to win the championship."

Not satisfied with the title, Wenger also has his sights set on UEFA Champions League glory starting with the second leg of the Gunners' quarter-final at Anfield on Tuesday night.

"We have belief we can win anywhere in the world," he added. "There is a little comfort when the game starts whe you are at home, but in Europe that doesn't matter very much.

"Liverpool have the support but it's down to us to keep the crowd quiet.

"It is difficult because they are a little bit louder than anywhere else, and they have had a bit more stamina than anywhere else - but we will try."
