MADRID - Real Madrid telah mencapai persetujuan dengan ejen Franck Ribery untuk menandatangani bintang Bayern Munich itu pada 2010, lapor akhbar tempatan semalam.
Real gagal mendapatkan khidmat pemain antarabangsa Perancis itu pada musim panas ini selepas mendapat tentangan daripada Bayern.
Bagaimanapun akhbar harian Sepanyol, Spanish melaporkan, kerana keinginan kuat Ribery untuk menyertai kelab Sepanyol itu, dia sedia berpindah ke Madrid setahun dari sekarang.
Ribery dan ejennya, Alain Migliaccio dikatakan telah memberi persetujuan kepada Zinedine Zidane, yang bertindak sebagai penasihat Real Madrid untuk menandatangani kontrak lima tahun.
Zidane, yang juga bekas bintang Real dan bekas Pemain Terbaik Dunia telah memainkan peranan penting dalam membawa masuk rakan senegaranya itu ke Madrid.
Menurut laporan itu lagi, yang bagaimanapun tidak mendedahkan sumber, Real juga pernah melakukan pendekatan yang sama, iaitu mencapai persetujuan awal ketika hendak membawa masuk Cristiano Ronaldo pada 2008.
Selepas mencapai persetujuan awal dengan Ronaldo, bintang Manchester United itu akhirnya berpindah ke Madrid pada 2009.
Presiden Real Madrid, Florentino Perez telah membelanjakan lebih 250 juta euro (RM1.24 bilion) setakat ini untuk membawa masuk bintang dunia seperti Ronaldo, Kaka dan Karim Benzima.
