I don't know for sure but the authorities who already gave the permit tiba2 cakap permitnya digantung utk sementara waktu. Itulah sampai sekarang belum ada news lagi samaada diteruskan atau dibatal.

I've asked abt this matter to the owner of agnezone and they said Brunei govt has given the permit since nov 2006 but then majlis keagamaan disana suddenly disapproved it

Yeah...I heard the same thing too

even Letto punya konsert pun ditarik permitnya....

^ Perhaps some "people" there were worried about the influence that indonesian artists bring

I'm not really sure. Maybe they saw how Agnes performs and the way she dresses during her performance. For me, it's okay but for the majlis keugamaan it's a 'no-no'. There are certain rules to be obeyed. Like KD, she has to wear pakaian yg x menjolok mata sewaktu konsertnya diBrunei dulu. Maybe they saw one of agnes' performance, wearing skirts or shorts. That's y they're having 2nd thoughts

Not only Indonesian artists, even malaysian artist pun ada yg kena tarik permitnya in last minute.

My friend told me that Aman Abadi has something against sultan family:

For 10 times Panasonic Awards being held, Agnes has won 7 times in different categories. She never vanishes from the tv and always becomes the favorite among the viewers. This is her 4 times she won the most favorite actress and beat her seniors such as Dessy Ratnasari, Tamara Bleszinsky and Inneke Koesherawati.

Indonesia抯 Pop Princess Agnes Monica is Chosen as the Ambassador of Anti-Drug for Far East Region

Jakarta - March 21, 2007

Famous Indonesian young singer and actress Agnes Monica is officially selected to become the ambassadress of anti-drug by International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC) Far East Region, last night.

The task requires Agnes Monica for taking world journey to 18 Asia countries in support of the international anti-drugs campaign such as Nepal, South Korea, China, India and Australia.

揑抦 so proud being chosen as the ambassadress for IDEC. My activity to campaign the programs is more important than to promote myself, because it抯 related to the public interests.
