Krystal Jung was spotted by SM Entertainment in 2000, which earned her a small role in a short segment of Shinhwa's "Wedding March" music video. In 2006, Luna Park was recruited through an SM audition in Seoul. SM discovered Victoria Song in September 2007 at a dance competition in Beijing, China, which brought her to South Korea for a modeling and acting career. A month later, Amber Liu was casted from an audition in Orange County, California. While Krystal was the first member to make a media appearance, having appeared briefly in a Lotte commercial in 2002, Sulli Choi was the first member to make a debut, officially debuting as a child actress in September 2005 as the role of young Princess Sun-hwa in the SBS television drama, The Ballad of Seo-dong. Victoria was the second; she made her first appearance as a model for SPRIS with Korean actor-singer Lee Jun-ki in early 2008. Krystal began training for f(x) in 2006 along with Sulli and Luna. Amber Liu joined them in early 2008, with Victoria the last to join the group, in the latter months of 2008.

MyOpinion: The wait is finally over! I wasn't super impressed with thissong when I first hear it but the music video definitely made me likeit more. The choreography is great and they seem like excellentdancers. Based on this song alone, I think I like Luna's voice the bestand I can't wait to see how she sounds live. I know everyone's beenflailing over Amber but Victoria's definitely my favorite. I've had agirlcrush on her since SJM's U video and we're nearly the same age,plus I love all the SM Town leaders. Of course, things could changeafter I see their personalities. Amber is a very close second and Ijust love her whole mysterious, androgynous vibe. But I think she andSM are taking a huge risk because I can already see her anti's forming.Showbiz is not a nice place for even the most gorgeous people and forsomeone who refuses to conform to their idea of "beautiful" it's goingto have an even harder uphill battle. Hopefully, I'm wrong and Koreawill accept her because I know most of the international fandom alreadyhas. Sulli is absolutely adorable and seems more like the magnae thanKrystal. Even though Krystal doesn't look Jessica, she definitelysounds like her. Also, the girls' individual shots seemed to matchtheir images well; Sulli with stuffed animals, Amber as a circusringleader, Victoria with a camera, Krytal in front of mirrors and myfavorite, Luna sitting on a moon! It could have been corny but I thinkit turned out cool. Overall, I think the song is a little weak for adebut but it's not bad and I love that there's no auto-tuning. Ofcourse the major question that still remains is how they'll performlive. I'll be looking forward to it and more stuff from this group inthe future.
