Police: 19 dead and 50 injured in terrorist incident at Manchester Arena

At least 19 people have died and 50 injured in an explosion at Manchester Arena after a pop concert by US singer Ariana Grande.

Greater Manchester Police said the blast is being treated as a terrorist incident until they know otherwise.

Manchester Victoria train station has been closed with emergency services and armed police in attendance.

Police carried out a "controlled explosion" in the Cathedral Gardens area near Manchester Arena.

UPDATE: There are reports of casualties. We are awaiting more info. Some outlets are reporting 23 dead, 100 injured. Police announced they are treating it as a terror incident. Some reports are saying bomb removal squads are arriving. It is very sad to know that children have been killed. Video possibly showing police dragging out a suspect has arisen. The Sun and FOX confirm a nail bomb was used. PZF reports it is possible there are more bombs in nearby train stations. Fox’s Tucker Carlson speculated that it may have been a suicide bombing. Security did not ‘pat down’ guests. A second bomb has been found and is being set off by police. This was a coordinated attack. ISIS twitter accounts tweeted about the attack prior to it actually happening.
