Fuel-Efficiency Competition is Back!

Shah Alam, 8 March 2013 – The Nissan Lightfoot Quest 2013 brought to you by the official Nissan distributor Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn. Bhd. is back for the second time around. This fuel-efficiency competition will take place on 17 March 2013, and is open exclusively to owners of the all-new Nissan ALMERA.

Dato’ Dr. Ang Bon Beng, Executive Director of ETCM said, “Fuel prices have been increasing over the years. Through this Nissan Lightfoot Quest 2013, we hope customers will take this opportunity to acquire the right driving techniques in order to enjoy higher fuel-efficiency of their Nissan ALMERA.”

Participants are required to refuel and hand-over their vehicles, followed by a briefing session at Holiday Inn Glenmarie, Shah Alam a day before the event. This Nissan Lightfoot Quest 2013 competiton will flag-off from Holiday Inn Glenmarie, Shah Alam and end at a selected petrol station in Gopeng.

Nissan ALMERA is known not only for its good fuel-efficiency but it truly lives up to its promise of surprisingly more which are in its stylish aerodynamic body, premium technology features and spaciousness that are usually found in more premium vehicles.

The number of entries for this competition is open to 50 Nissan ALMERA vehicles with a total number of 100 participants based on a first-come-first-serve basis. The entry fee is RM 100.00 per vehicle.

This event is divided into two categories which are the 1.5 Litre (Automatic) and 1.5 Litre (Manual). ETCM will select the top 3 winners from both the category. The Grand Prize winner for each category will walk away with RM5,000 in cash. Second and third place will be able to take home RM3,000 and RM2,000 in cash respectively.

The Nissan Lightfoot Quest 2013 fuel-efficiency competition will be endorsed and verified by the National Union of Journalists (NUJ).
