Nur yang menetap di Bukit Tinggi di sini, berkata, sebelum ini dia mencari rezeki sebagai bidan dan pengamal perubatan tradisional namun minat serta keinginan mencabar mendorongnya menjadi pemandu treler.


Berikutan itu, dia beranikan diri mengambil ujian lesen memandu vokasional (GDL) dan menjadi pemandu kerana enggan mensia-siakan kemahiran yang ada.

"Saya minat benda yang mencabar dan kerana itu gigih kumpul wang untuk ambil ujian lesen GDL.


"Alhamdulillah, saya lulus ujian dengan sekali percubaan saja jadi nekad menjadi pemandu treler.


"Keluarga terutama emak risau dan sarankan saya kekal jadi bidan saja tetapi ayah sokong begitu juga anak sulung saya yang beri galakan ambil lesen memandu (GDL)," katanya ketika ditemui di pejabatnya dekat Teluk Gong di sini.


Menceritakan pengalamannya, Nur mengakui kekok untuk memandu treler pada awalnya namun pengalaman di atas jalan raya banyak membantunya menyesuaikan diri.


Kini, Nur semakin selesa malah sudah diberi kepercayaan oleh majikan untuk menghantar barangan ke luar kawasan di utara dan timur tanah air.


"Mulanya memang gayat duduk dalam treler kerana berada di kedudukan tinggi, malah ambil masa empat hingga lima jam untuk parkir.


"aling susah apabila pergi ke tempat baru dan memandu di laluan sempit serta ada kabel elektrik.


"ernah satu ketika, treler dipandu saya masuk ke kawasan dikelilingi pokok kelapa sawit pada waktu malam hingga berasa nak menangis tetapi cuba tenangkan diri kerana yakin Allah ada.


"Takut juga dengan keselamatan kerana apa pun, saya seorang wanita tetapi sentiasa ambil langkah berhati-hati," katanya.


Mengenai penerimaan orang sekeliling, Nur berkata, setakat ini, belum ada lagi pemandu lain atau sesiapa yang cuba merendahkan atau mempertikaikan kebolehannya.


"Cuma, biasalah, apabila turun daripada kenderaan, ada yang menyangka suami memandu treler.


"Situasi sama berlaku ketika saya disaman anggota polis sebelum ini apabila mereka menyangka saya bersama suami, hakikatnya memandu sendiri.


"Bagaimanapun, saya sudah lali kerana apa yang lebih penting, kerja berjalan lancar walaupun dengan penampilan begini (muslimah)," katanya yang mengakui sayu apabila tidak dapat meluangkan masa berbuka dengan keluarga kerana tuntutan kerja ketika Ramadan.


Berhubung perkongsian video di TikTok, Nur berkata, niatnya bukan untuk menunjuk kebolehan yang ada tetapi memberi inspirasi kepada wanita lain.


Ia kerana Nur yakin ramai wanita di luar sana berminat untuk menjadi pemandu treler sepertinya cuma belum ada keyakinan.


Berkongsi hala tujunya, Nur berkata, buat masa ini, dia akan terus mencari rezeki sebagai pemandu treler kerana perlu menyara lima anak berusia tiga hingga 15 tahun.


"Jujurnya saya sudah penat tetapi ada tanggungjawab jadi perlu kuatkan diri untuk cari rezeki.


"Mujur ada anak remaja jadi dapat bantu jaga adiknya yang lain terutama ketika saya bekerja di luar kawasan.


"Cuma, saya akan berhenti juga satu hari nanti apabila jodoh sampai kerana mahu jaga anak, tumpukan pada keluarga dan dekatkan diri dengan Allah SWT," katanya. -CARI
