Here are some tips for caring for your bedding to extend its lifespan, from the confusing folding of fitted sheets to keeping pillows fresh. We spend a large portion of our days in bed, however the upkeep of our sheets and bedding is frequently neglected. In order for bedsheets to stay fresh, there needs to be adequate airflow in the linen closet (or drawer, shelf, or wherever you store them). Additionally, the issue is made worse if they include even a small amount of moisture. Before storing your sheets, make sure they are completely dry, and check to see that the space has enough room, ventilation, and airflow to prevent the bedding from being packed too tightly. Lavender can be added as well to help counteract the nastiness.
