Perodua has introduced two new variants to its UK Myvi line up: the Myvi SE and the Myvi Sport. The Malaysian car maker also announced that the Myvi range, which also includes the manual SXi and automatic EZi, is now Euro 5 compliant.

The Myvi Sport gets a body kit consisting of front, side and rear skirts including “imitation quad exhausts” (yes, that’s the exact phrase used in the press release). Colour coded side mouldings with chrome ‘Myvi’ motifs, chrome door handles and different alloys are the other changes. No rear spoiler, though. Inside, mock carbon fibre inserts are fitted to the instrument panel and door panel switch. Only available with a manual gearbox, the Sport is priced at £7,799 (price includes £1,000 swappage allowance offer).



The Myvi SE is the “luxury model” fitted with dark grey leather. The centre panels of the seats are made from perforated leather, with matching door inserts. Available in manual or auto form, the Myvi SE is priced from £8,399 including the £1,000 trade in deal, which lasts till 31st October. The Myvi is a fair bit cheaper than mainstream superminis in the UK – B-segment car for A-segment money, although the brand counts against it.

The UK spec Myvi is also powered by the K3-VE 1.3-litre engine with 86 hp and 116 Nm of torque. There’s no mention of different figures for the Euro 5 versions. I didn’t know that Perodua is still exporting pre-facelift Myvis until now.

mmg la sokong... sebab ah beng japs wannabe  dah ada pilihan..
dulu nak beli keta jepun tak mampu last2 terpaksa beli keta myvi yg ayu tu...ko ingat ah beng beli myvi tu sebab perodua ke??? salah depa beli myvi sebab  bau jepun disebalik Myvi.. bukan sebab perodua ......tapi nak buat camne.. ah beng dah takde pilihan.. keta ppuan pon ppuan la... tapi sekarang ah beng dah ada pilihan.. keta bau jepun... macho dan ada ciri JANTAN... ah beng akan beli inspira ni bukan sebab proton.. tapi sebab bau jepun di sebalik INSPIRA

Kalau tak salah keta tue terbabas dan terus melanggar papan tanda tue dan akibatnya amat teruk....Bukan nak buat perbandingan siapa kuat tapi menunjukkan kelajuan yg tiba2 tidak dapat dikawal boleh membawa malapetaka kpd sesiapa...So berhati2lah samaada bawa kereta yg mahal atau murah....

susah jugak nak pahamkan manusia bila sentuh bab2 eksiden ni..

hadapan keta perlu lebih "lembut" dipanggil crumple zone.. supaya dpt menyerap daya hentaman sebelum smpai  safety  bar  ( aku pun taktau apa bahasa automotif tu.. tp safety bar tu mmg nak protect manusia dlm keta tu la ).. so bila dah smpai safety bar dimana kawasan yg lebih keras diperlukan utk melindungi manusia dlm keta tu.. so time tu effect hentaman adalah kuat..

so mmg kereta direka menjadi tin milo dihadapan .. belakang.. utk serap effect hentaman ketika eksiden.. kalo engineer tak pikir semua tu.. baik dia taruk bumper titanium depan belakang.. langgar rumah org pun stedi lagi.. tp apa akan jadi pd manusia dlm keta tu..

so tak timbul isu keta tu tin milo.. keta tu tin ovaltine.. keta tu tin vico.. keta tu tin susu cap junjung..

cuma terdapat sedikit perbezaan ketahanan pd sesetengah model kereta mewah kerana material yg digunakan sebagai tin milo zon tu lebih kuat kerana faktor kelajuan dan berat sesuatu kereta tu..

ye la.. diibaratkan batu besar tu kereta mercedes/bmw/volvo manakala batu kecil tu kereta golongan pertengahan.. of course la daya hentaman lebih tinggi bg batu besar kerana berat fizikalnya lebih tinggi berbanding batu kecil.. so kalo kita baling batu besar dan batu kecil ke dinding .. dengan kelajuan dan daya yg sama.. kesan hentaman bg kedua2 batu itu berlainan kerana faktor berat dia tu..

tu la.. kalo nampak proton hentam mercedes.. proton remuk depan teruk gak.. walhal mercedes tu cat je terkopek sikit..



aku taktau la korang paham ke tak.. tp camtu la konsep dia..
