Let's Take A 'Brake'!

Huhuhuh..

Rasa takda kot org tanya pasal ni.. ehehe..

Aku cuma nak tanya, kalau kita nak buat emergency brake kan.. Boleh ke tarik hand-brake tu?

Kalau tak silap, mmg nama lain utk handbrake tu emergency brake pun kan?

Cuma aku rasa mcm tak pernah dibuat org je tarik handbrake tengah2 laju tu..

brek belakang tu memang dah apply time kita brek cam biase,kira empat2 tayar brek..tapi brek belakang tak bape kuat cam brek depan..tapi sempat ke nak tarik lever emergency brake tu time btol2 emergency?kalau keta auto maybe la...kalu manual???tak cukup tangannnn...

cuba bayangkan..kat hi-way tengah laju..tetiba je kena buat hentian kecemasan ..dah tekan break kat pedal dan tarik handbreak lagi..tak berpusing ke keta??

member ayah aku ada cite anak dia drive kancil pi pantai timur,
anak dia bawak member dia lalu Highway karak tuh,
masa on highspeed,
anak dia terjumpe cam something la on the road,
nak elak tuh anak dia panik last2 terangkat hand-brake,
kereta tuh ilang kawalan pastu terbalik terpusing2,
orang dalam alhamdullillah tak meninggal,
cume cedera parah je..
aku tak rasa handbrake sbg satu emergency brek..
bukan ke utk immobilize kenderaan dgn lock all wheel?
bukan ke itu function dia?
sebab klu keempat2 tayar berhenti serentak dan mengejut,
inersia tetap ada dan semakin besar jika jasad kereta itu menampung banyak benda..
jadi semakin lambat nak berhenti bile brek..
erm,,just my point of view..

Kalau tak de skill drifting mana boleh main handbreak bahaya wooo....kalau tak pandai nak kawal tekanan hand break tayar belakang terkunci kereta boleh terbabas.
Nak kena pandai control stering utk seimbangkan balik tayar belakang yg akan lari kiri-kanan.
Saya pun tak baper cekap benda nie... Baik main engine braking kalau terdesak....

kalau stended setting, tengah laju tu ko tarik, takkan berhenti punya kete, sebab ko tarik guna force pakai cabel. setting dier cukup utk buat kete tu tak bergerak masa berhenti dari tolak atau menggelongsor..  kalau betul nak emergency, tekan jer brake tu sekuat hati, force hidraulik tu lagi power utk stop kete..  force distribution lebih kuat kat brake depan dari kat belakang sebab brake depan yg lebih effective menghentikan kenderaan.. setakat tarik hand brake utk emergency stop.. kompom berdentum ler.. sebab hand brake nie attach ngan brake belakang jer..

yang buat drift tu, hand brake tu sudah kasi adjust kasi power, tarik sket jer tayar sudah lock..

lagi satu, kat asia nie, bila plak orang panggey tu emergency brake.. manual maner yg ko baca yg mengatakan menatang tu nama dier emergency brake priki?? tapi haku tau, kat US nun orang panggey natang nieh emergency brake.. haku pong tak tau naper.. mungkin sebab banyak kete kat sana auto trans. so kalau gear engage, co-driver kat seblah tu bleh tarik natang tu in case of emergency..

Normally, natang nie is well known as "PARKING BRAKE" sebab orang selalu guna masa parking jer. tapi just in case of your hidraulik brake tak function, boleh lar guna as emergency brake, tapi dier bukan di reka utk emergency brake..

harap maklum!!

kalo keta ko ada ABS dan kawalan stereng yg bagus,risiko keta nak berpusing tu agak kurang...
biasanya yg senang berpusing nie keta yg takde ABS sebab brake terus melekat ke disk...
