How do you absorb for the new working environment?

let say u dah berbelas tahun keja 1 tempat but 1 day u di tawarkan ngan pekerjaan baru..off course la it is new challenge for u all sebab u all baru masuk plak tu nak bercampur gaul ngan senior..camna u sesuaikan diri ngan persekitaran dan orang baru..ada yang buat buat pandai pastu tersilap sebab segan nak bertanya huhu.

actually i do not care very much on senior junior thing my respect actually for those yg show originality / humility in their personality and plus the thinking. Nak sesuaikan diri ? well not too difficult as long as u know responsibility and professionalism... apart from that just ask away anyway ...be honest, sincere, humble and true to yourself.

memula kena la respek senior kat situ...ikut adat melayu..nanti nampak kurang ajar pulak...lepas tu..kena profesional la..

aku pun sbnrnye ada masalah nie tapi disebabkan keje aku mmg blkg tabir so takdela nak borak2 sgt.

tapi pun selama ni alhamdulillah ok jer...

Masuk tempat baru, kena be friendly yg melebih-lebih sikit. Senyum kena selalu. Kalau dapat high position jangan terus nak tunjuk power, contohnye suruh org bawah buat mende macam-macam. Sebulan atau dua bulan tu try ambik ati dulu org2 satu dept. Bila dah ngam baru senang nak kerja. Penah dulu sorang senior exec masuk kompeni aku, so 1st day HR bawak la dia pusing utk introduce pada staff. Salah sorang ada tanya:

A: Ooo HR baru? You buat ape kat HR?
B: I buat OD.
A: OD tu ape?
B: You taip kat google "Organizational Development" nanti dah baca you tau la maknanye, ok?
A: Ooo ok (tersengeh)

Lepas tu tersebar la cerita yg minah ni sombong, kekwat dan segala. Terus kena pulau. makan pun sorang-sorang. Tak lama lepas tu resign minah ni.  

So bila masuk tempat baru pandai-pandai la merendah diri tapi dalam masa yg sama kena la bertegas yg bertempat.

well respect is the manifested behaviour towards everyone irrespective whether they are senior ker junior ker baby ker whatever , why bother on the strata?

tapi kan budaya Melayu respect ni meloyakan .....ada yg demand u know whereas respect SHOULD BE EARNED, sometimes i just wondering whether this is the product of insecurity or what ?

its inevitable tau...ramai my frens complain coz the seniors taknak ikut arahan sbb my fren ni baru masuk 2 bulan. tapi in terms of tangga, mmg la my fren ni jauh lagi tinggi.

to me, professional la sket buat keje. byk org byk ragam. so keep aside all the sensitivity, betul tak?

i usually distance myself from these kinda politics tapi mmg org kate takleh elak lah. giler betul.
i tak makan nasi masa lunch pun kena kutuk. ape kesss????     bukannye i makan pakai duit diaorg punnnn

Haah, mmg la dapt job baru. Tapi tu la kesian. Tak ramai org nak coorperate ngan dia. So memang payah dia nak deliver walaupun pada pengamatan aku keja dia marveles.

im very sympathize for those working especially bank environment..from my observation they work so independently..how can they work like that?im not talking to all bank..only who are working with multiracial people..

If I'm freshly grad yes....a lil bit nervous and yes again...junior/senior thing will be the first thing in my mind to start with. But as you said dah kerja bertahun-tahun I think I'm like a dry sponge that will absorb everything in a shorter time.

Rule number #1
For starts, do not show your geniuses. And don't act like one....you'll be the most irritated showing off person in the office.

Rule number #2
Don't speak too  much! Yes...be friendly, but not like a pop corn. People who speaks too much are more likely telling the stupid things....and a time waster. What to do? Peoples do judge others! Speaking about first impression huh?

Rule number #3
Don't ask too much.....you're annoying others.

As an experienced worker....you'll be expected to do things correctly at the first time....the confidence you got from new colleagues and your boss is a good sign that you're accepted. Till that, then you're good to show your true potential and more comfortable to work in the new atmosphere.

depends on the environment you are working with .. in my line of duty u do not know and U never ask u made a mistake haiyaa u will be ..well "informed" that - next time it 's ok to ask ..becoz it saves so much trouble and no question is treated as a stupid question we encourage students to talk more and ask question sebab ...ni one of the generic competency

and they teach  us to be analytical and critical too so in a way it helps u to grow bukan darisegi kerja  tapi diri sendiri....
