just watched the movie. I hate that Briony sister. Tragic and love sangat the phrases...

come back come back to me.

But i like the plot i mean at the very end when the old version of biony told the interviewer that her sister Cee never ...it's kinda sad, kan? very tragic and  imagine Briony would carry the burden of gulit, sin of the lies / fabrication.

then you'll learn that "KENAPA FTNAH LEBIH BERDOSA DARI MEMBUNUH"

dan untuk sesiapa yg menonton cerita ni,  you ' ll feel like slapping the old Briony when she said to the interviewer that

"what purpose served by honesty ..." cam tu lah iras irasa laas bahasanya ...i just wanted to say ..it's relieving to be honest.Relieved that actually all the burden of sins that you carry on the lies  youmade would easily awashed by just telling the truth... but i guess it is rather too late..

Wak sebenarnya bukan nak tengok cite nih, wak nak tengok cite lain, tapi dah tersilap beli tiket..bila tersedar dan nak tukar, cite yg wak nak tengok plak tiket dah habis.. jadik wak tengoklah jugak. Anyhow, wak tak rasa kesal sebab cite nih memang antara film yg berkualiti yg pernah wak tengok. Kisah cinta tiga segi yg berlaku pada zaman perang pertama, sebnarnya si Brony tu pun ada menaruh hati kat bf kakak dia tapi tak diluahkan.

hmm.. sj jer nak letak komen aku... actually dah lama aku tulis komen aku bout this movie.. sj jer br nak paste kat sini... ni opinion aku tau.. takde kena mengena dgn hidup atau mati....

To tell you the truth, Iwatched the movie on 2nd of January. Well now, it抯 been like 2 or 3weeks since then. Maybe it抯 too late to write the review. But anyway,what the hell! It抯 better late than never. Suddenly, I feel like doingit after reading all the Oscar buzz surrounding this movie and it didget the nomination for Best Film category. Here are my thoughts.
I never heard or understandthe meaning of such big word like ATONEMENT. What the hell is it??Being me who spoke pigeon English, and sometime stutter when try tospeak proper English during interview, I went to this movie withoutknowing what the premise of the movie is all about. For me, 揳tonement攕ounds like musical drama nyanyi-nyanyi cause there抯 a word TONE in it. Hehheh
Anyway, the first part of the movie remind me of Cerekarama (Malay soap) withall that drama-mama thing happening. It also has that typical Britishperiod movie going on. You know where there is a scene they havingconversation at piano with the accent and lepak-lepak picnic at padang scene. You know right?? But don抰 get me wrong, the first part of the movie is OK, compared to the 2nd part of the movie.
We抣l learn that Cecilia(Kiera Knightly) had a love affair with Robbie, the family抯 handyman.Robbie (James McAvoy) who抯 grown up together with Cecilia抯 family,even been sponsored by Cecilia抯 father for college. The movie actuallystart to be interesting when Cecilia抯 little sister, Briony, witnessed something peculiar through a window. She saw Cecilia stripped to her undergarment in front of Robbie at a fountain (which you can see most part of Kiera抯 body and LPF cuts it).Actually, Cecilia try to get a porcelain that is dropped by Robbie inthe fountain. Briony, being innocent, think otherwise. The suspicion onRobbie as a pervert adds up when Robbie try to send Cecilia apologyletter but instead, he mistakenly send a letter containing filthy nastyword. Briony being a nosy letter-delivery girl read the letter andshocked. By the way, the word is actually c**t (referring to femalegenitalia) and LPF blurred some alphabets on the 搉asty

long tracking shot tu cantek bebeno ye. (ntah berapa take ler deiols kena buat iya ) terpegun aku nengoknya tapi cemana detail pon shot tu aku rasa ada kureng sikit.  kureng feel.

but where is the big regret, the loss?


the briony sister who was supposed to grieve becoz of her mouth, slips away
and when the second sister tries to redeem them both (yes they are actually the same character ler yang haku cakap nih) haku dont feel sorry anymore (by the way watak kiera knightly tu lagiler haku tak kesian, macam sundal pon ader gak)

so when it comes to the third briony sister tu (meaning the last part) yang memang membuat haku paling excited. because when all else dont meet the expectation yang haku harapkan: BAIK HAKU TENGOK VANESSA REDGRAVE DALAM BEBERAPA MINIT AJER PON TAKPE!. coz she is definitely one of the greatest actresses of her time!

p/s not tat it is a bad movie...
