Yup. They are all pop-rock bands.. takder bezanya dgn The Click Five, Backstreet Boys (latest album diorang berkonsepkan pop rock), O-Town (latest album pun konsep pop-rock), LFO (latest album pun pop-rock gak), Nature dan lain2 band yg bergantung pada lagu2 yg radio-friendly. |

band2 mtv tu dikatakan emo? what the hell?
just because you let your fringe down, covering half your face, mascara on your eyes, wearing t-shirt printed with pretentious statement and scream for 2-3 minutes on how the world rotates around you..doesn't make you an emo...
and please with these emo music definitions...for god sake, every single song with lyrics are emo song.
expressing your feeling through arrangements of rhythm and words hence making it melodical, poetically listenable a.k.a 'a song'..isn't that emo?
and what's up with this i'm narcissistically cool and everyone else suck attitude?
aku suka Oscar Wilde punya statement.."you don't want people to judge you, but you spend hours doing your hair and putting on makeup?"

i only open this thread bcuz of MCR written at the thread title.. i don't care how u label other bands, i don't have anything against what you're saying, but when it come to My Chem, i had to say (write) something..
1st of all, My Chem ARE NOT emo...
2ndly.. u can say whatever u want.. but pliz be consider other people's feeling. i am one of My Chem fans, and i felt offended when ppl thrash talk abt My Chem or their song
( eg: even aku dgr mcr tu sedap tapi pigi mampus la biar stakat kat tv dan radio je aku dgr lagu mereka. tak ingin aku donlod atau nengok/dengar mp3/video mereke. ).
My Chem saves my life. and if it weren't for My Chem, i won't be where i am now.

Aku dgr MCR first album diorang dulu, okay lah jugak..tapi lepas dah keluar lagu Helena apakejadah tu semua terus naik menyampah... apa dah jadi dgn muzik dorang pun aku tatau...
Tak anti emo band pon..tapi sore dorang lebih kurang sama je...kalo dgr dlm radio rasa cam satu penyanyi je sbb mcr, fob dll sama je dengarnye... |

other than that... orang lebih suka layan depeche mode... rage against..
band emo ni lebih kepada man-made... orang yang buat kan diaorang famous..
bukan datang dari dalam diri diaorang..
diaorang kena pakai macam tu.. kena pakai macam ni untuk tarik perhatian orang.
fesyen memang gempak.. tapi..
