What is your favourite anime character?

My ranking:

(MALE category)

1.  Touya Akira - from Hikaru no Go
(exactly my "type" ...emo, possessive, stoic...silent)

2.  Kenzo Tenma - from Monster
(i have a terrible soft spot for nice guys with sad smiles.....)

3.  Uchiha Itachi - from Naruto
(emo....silent)

4.  Himura Kenshin - from Rurouni Kenshin
(well... what I can I say?)

5.  Conrad - from Kyou Kara Maou
(nice guy with nice eyes)

Note:  In Kyou Kara Maou, though Conrad is my "type" ... I am a strong supporter of Wolfram.  
Wolfram's "intensity" is something that I give him credit for...



(FEMALE category)

1.  Anna Liebert/Nina Fortner - from Monster
(beautiful personality, character with depth ...and stunning voice)

2.  Nakahara Sunako - from Yamato Nadesico Shichi Henge
(she's weird....)

3.  Hongo Yui - from Fushigi Yuugi
(I think she's hot compared to Miaka.... I dont like Miaka)

4.  Hyuuga Hinata - from Naruto
(because I dont think that Kishimoto is being fair to her character ... why is it that every other female character becomes "prettier" in his illustrations for "after 3 year lapse" but failed to grace Hinata's character with the same generosity?  Giving her ample busts are not entirely flattering to some people ...huh!).  

5.  Okita Souji - from Peacemaker Kurogane
(does he even qualify in the Female section? hehe)
