Streamyx Pakej Rm20 N Rm44, Just utk ingatan bersama

Ok..kepada user streamyx yang guna pakej RM20 untuk 10 jam dan RM44 untuk 60 jam ni...
aku nak kasi advise sikit...supaya..korang disconnect betul2 yer..selepas penggunaan..
jangan main tutup pc je..
kasi disconnect properly...pastu off la pc..n jgn lupa off modem skali..
sebab...ada ramai customer komplen..yang kena... bila tengok bill...sampai 6 7 ratus..
bising2..kata pakej rm20 or rm44..tapi bil gila2 melambung
bila cek balik..memang connection dari nombor sama..
sah2 tak disconnect betul2..main tutup pc je..sebab...connection still ada dari modem ke server..
n lagi satu..jangan la gatal buat auto dialer or router..kes naya tu..
okey..just untuk reminder..sebarkan la pada kawan2 or sedara mara yang pakai pakej ni..
Mencegah lebih baik sebelum terkena..
lagi skali aku ingatkan...kasi disconnect properly...pastu off la pc..n jangan lupa off modem skali..
time kasih

Yup... streamyx pakai ADSL modem. Tu kena sambung ke router. Unless ko ada router yang ada modem builtin. |

kat malaysia internet murah giler, kat saudi, telecom charge line minimum 90 riyal (rm85) utk guna line everymonth plus minimum 150 riyal (rm140) utk ISP 128kb, dah la slow mahal lak tu, 1mb nya line lak 300 riyal sebulan...
just for info sharing.. |

protocol sama, system aje lain. it's up to the provider to choose which system/design/architecture they want to use. both require a modem in order for user to connect to the internet - no router required (you're using the isp router).
however, if you want to have your own home network, then you need a router. that's why nowadays you can find lots of modem+router in one device. if your isp requires you to dial before connecting to the internet, you can automate the process by permanently entering the login info in the modem/router. so, when you connect your computer to it, you don't need to login (just like LAN).

ff:
in this case, memang ada kaitan dengan kelajuan, since both ISPs are DSL based isp. this way, it's easier to manage subscribers when the isp offers more than one package.
anyway, if you're using jaring and you're still need to enter login info, that's not direct connection (like LAN). without login info, you can't get on the internet. basically, all dsl providers require users to enter login info to get on the network (doesn't matter if you set it up in your router, modem or you do it on your computer).
isp that provides online access via cable, doesn't require its users to enter login info. users can get on the internet directly, just like LAN (no login info to enter whether on your computer, router or modem).
of course, cable and dsl are different. dsl user has dedicated line (private and more secure). cable user has to share its line with others (less private and less secure). however, cable has more upside than dsl (panjang kalau nak cerita)..

Thanks for the info. Interesting.
In Saudi Arabia, prices for this is higher probably because of these 2 factors:
1. the urban population isnt as great as in Malaysia (eventhough the national population is about the same).
2. National Per Capita earning is much higher there.
Dunno about this, but perhaps language may also contribute to a lack of internet users which will definitely effect net access prices.
my 2 riyals. |

MulutBecok...yg gambar 2nd tu ko masukkan username ngan password jaring ke?in that case mmg takde beza dgn streamyx...your dialing was done in the background... |

erm lagi satu kalau korang takut bil korang melambung dan nak tahu berapa usage yang kita dah gunakan.....so leh klik sini
https://tmbill.tm.net.my/SelfCare/Maintenance/selfcareLogin.jsp
so korang dapat bajet berapa korang dah gunakan dan berapa bayarannyer....just masuk username dan password korang ....pastu klik View Usage Details masuk under streamyx nyer bil......so kita tahu berapa bil bulanan sebelum bil sebenarnyer dtg kalau harga bil yang sampai tuh lain kita leh compare kat laman web diatas tuh ajer...... |
