how 2load&display gif img on DTK(embedded board) under winCE

i m using c++ to do my project...i juz wan to know how to load and display the gif and jpg image under wincE...i have try to load bitmap and it was successful...juz very headache bout this problem...i have not sleep becos of this problem 3 nite d!!!!!!

Embedded mainboard c/w build-in vga card, click on control panel ,system,  then update the driver from the CD that c/w the mainboard.

Note:  vga driver should  come together  with themainboard CD when you purchased whole computer. If not then downloadfrom website , if you are download from website make you alreadyidentify the brand & version of the card. Hope you manage it. Godbless.

i thnk u may not answer my question successfully. i juz wan to display the gif image onto my embedded board. Currently i m using SHLoadImageFromFile function to call but it got compilation error. i oso heard ppl say that winCE OS cannot support SHLoadImageFromFile, only smartphone 2002 can support its.
Hope can get ur perfect solution on its.

u should know the right algo to display gif and jpeg as these formats are actually not the standard format for windows unlike bmp. u shold find out the right algo for ur need, as gif has many algo that can be used, interlace etc etc.. do expect the reduction of the image quality based on the algo.
