High Speed ALU

kpd forumer sekalian terutama yg expert pasal computer..nk tanya ni..kebiasaan kite dengar pasal ALU(arithmetic logic unit)..but how to design 4-bit high speed ALU??included its arithmetic and logic function

huhu..actually bende2 ni mmg tak meluas sgt..len lah kalau ditanya AMD vs. Intel ker,System bus for AMD and Intel ke..mesti ramai yg dpt jawab.....tu yg susah tu nak dpt info pasal ALU,Multiplexer,Subtractor dll..huhu..so sape yg dh sampai tahap tu sudi2 kan lah jawab soklan sy ni..tlg leh sesama rakyat mesia..

berbalik pada soklan yg first sekali..its about high speed ALU..info2 pasal ALU mmg byk..but how to make it HIGH SPEED..sbb tu nak tanya pada yg EXPERT..yg bleh pikir beyond imagination..yg bleh bg pandangan on how to make it high speed...btw..ingat internet 'knew it all' ker.Sbb ada limitation ler aku bertanya pd yg bijak pandai..

masih blaja..electronics enginnering majoring in computer..benda2 mcm ni byk disoal dlm final dan midterm test juga quiz....soaklan2 yg takdak dlm buku kena pikir mcm org yg bekerja sbg computer enginner walaupun subject ni chapter 2 pun tak habis2 lagi..(apa punya U daaa)..sbb tu kena amik inisiatif awal2...blajar drp yg pakar/expert sbb kadang2 otak manusia tu lagi bagus dr sebuah computer..di sbbkan otak aku lebih kurang mcm pentium II jer(or worst kot..huhu)..tu yg nak tanya mereka2 yg tahap melebihi athlon X2

I'm not that good in computer, but this is what I think of the problem.

You can increase the amount of data bus, which would increase its word size and the amount of bits that can be processed by processor in each cycle.

By feeding a processor with a lot of datas at once, providing you have enough computing power to process the information (use of multiple cores perhaps?), this will increase the speed of logical operation in ALU.

I'm just guessing though, so take it with a grain of salt.
