Conditional MCO: All EPF offices in Sabah temporarily closed from Tuesday (Oct 13) until further notice
PETALING JAYA: All Employees Provident Fund (EPF) offices and counters in Sabah are closed from Tuesday (Oct 13) until further notice due to the conditional movement control order (MCO).
In a statement on Monday (Oct 12), EPF said all prior online appointments at its offices in Sabah will be cancelled with immediate effect.
Members who have made appointments to visit EPF offices in Sabah during the conditional MCO will have to reschedule their appointments after the order is lifted, said EPF.
"Members and employers are urged to opt for EPF's online services, i-Akaun (Member) and i-Akaun (Employer), which are operating as usual.
"Payment for contributions can still be made through Internet banking or over the counter at registered bank agents," said EPF.
It also advised members and employers to obtain information only from EPF's official channels, adding that in this period of uncertainty, the EPF is committed to continue serving its members to the best of its ability via its physical offices and digital platforms.
"Our priority remains the health and safety of our members and employees. We regret any inconvenience caused," said EPF.
For any clarification, the public can call the EPF contact management centre at 03-8922 6000.
