Lens conversion.. wat is that..?

Intro:
sy beberapa bulan beli nikon 5100... (tak de duit nak beli yg lg up..) pakai 18-105.. konon nya blh zoom jauh sikt. tp bila dah ambek gambar dlm berbagai angle..baru faham mengapa org guna lens yg berlainan utk setiap jenis shoot.. krn sy suka gambar potrait (terutama yg candid..) ingat nak cari lens 35mm 1.8g.. rege 700 lebih.. dok cari lg kot ada yg lg murah....
bagaimanapun tanya punya tanya kat kedai.. ada la satu kedai yg perkenalkan lens conversion ni..( betul ke istilah ni..?) dia buat demo bagaimana nak guna (masa 2 sy tak bawa sy punya...)..sy tertarik pada alat ini krn dgn alat ini kita blh ambek gambar lagi wide anglenya & guna zoom (macro..) lg dahsat... maknanya dgn lens ini kita tak payah guna banyak2 lens lain.. jimat sb harga yg di bg tahu sekitar RM800.00 (offer katanya..)
persoalan:
sy tgk2 ramai tak membicara psl alat ini. adakah ramai yg msh tak tahu @ sy yg agak ketinggalan keratapi krn dah ramai pakai tp tak mau bising..? adalah ianya baik utk camera kita? @ pun tidak menampakkan pro kita bila pakai alat ini..? Harga sebenarnya brp..?

Nikon lens converter wide utk Coolpix
LENS CONVERTER ni adalah adapter lens (stand alone) yang kita bley pasang pada lens yang kita ada... filter thread dia berbeza and sometimes ada saiz besar and saiz kecil... to me, lens converter nie tak bagus mana pon...(possibility loss 2-stop light from exposure)
It's better beli actual lens... if nak wide (beli wide lens)... if nk macro (beli macro lens)... Raynox lens utk macro is one alternative... tanya bulat... dia pakai raynox + SP 90mm macro f/2.8 Tamron rasanya...Lens converter is an option - BUT NOT THE BETTER ONE...
D5100 is a crop-sensor DSLR from Nikon dengan cropped factor 1.5x and sesuai ngan lens nikkor yg ada mark DX
18-105mm lens: 18mm is already wide enough for cropped-sensor...105mm is mid-"telephoto" enough utk kebanyakkan org... perlu ke nak lebey wide? atau lebey zoom? atau macro function? Nak lebey wide... manual zoom-out / zoom-in laa... under kebelakang time shoot 
YES, converter is lebey murah...but RM800...sorry to say... if DIGI-EYE lens converter tak semahal itu utk lens 18-105mm (dengan 67mm filter thread)...should be around RM150-RM300 je... jangan kene kelentong ngan seller... this seller usually akan pusing-pusing rege (main rege) sebab they go paid by commission... (explained in pm'ed)

Mostly standard price new stock kebanyakan still jual 35mm f/1.8G DX AF-S pada harga RM800
But, some ada yang jual n between RM700 till RM800...
Market utk 2nd hand item in between RM500-RM650

- Lens ni is good option and quit a good buy for cropped sensor DSLR user...
- Max aperture adalah f/1.8 and lowest aperture f/22 (Good for low light)
- Very fast lens (most prime mmg laju auto-focus)
- Reasonably "nice" bokeh quality
- Full Manual Override focusing
Focal length 35mm pada cropped body; Nikon = 1.5x) adalah bersamaan dengan 50mm lens pada full frame sensor...
Penah dengar ayat nie? "Best lens for DSLR/SLR is 50mm lens, because is same with human (eyes) perspective..."
Calculation Focal Length (FL):
(Lens FL) x (cropped factor) = Cropped 'Actual' Focal Length
35mm x 1.5 = 52.5mm
Another good lens adalah Nikkor 40mm f/2.8 Macro (bersamaan 60mm FL)
Another good lens adalah Sigma 30mm f/1.4 (bersamaan 45mm FL)

Even sue pon pakai lens ni as my primary lens dgn D90 - portraiture and wedding occasion ;)
sue amek 2nd hand from kawan with good price RM500 - quality item nice, appearances acceptable, 1 years usage
