SYNOPSIS
The Joseon version of The Chaser about a medical practitioner who struggles to save his daughter from a terminal illness while being caught up in a plot to poison the human race
Oriental doctor Choi Won (Lee Dong-Wook), who works for the royal family, becomes involved with the plot to poision King Injong and is now a fugitive. He tries to save his daughter who has an incurable disease. Choi Won has raised his daughter alone since his wife passed away.

Is there a new love line in the making between Lee Dong Wook and Song Ji Hyo?
Lee Dong Wook, and Song Ji Hyo, who showed off great teamwork as part of the same team on ‘Running Man‘ on this past weekend’s episode, may soon find themselves embroiled in on-screen romance!
The two along with actress Yoon Jin Yi are in the finals stages of being cast for upcoming historical genre medical drama, ‘Mandate of Heaven‘.
Lee Dong Wook, once confirmed, will be playing the lead character, a Joseon dynasty doctor who is on the run after having been framed. He struggles to find the cure to save his daughter from an incurable disease. His partner to be there for him every step of the way will be none other than actress Song Ji Hyo, the female doctor assisting him. The two will be Yoon Jin Yi, who is in consideration to play the role of a daughter of the head of thieves.
Although the exact details of the synopsis haven’t been revealed, it’s suspected that the lead characters Lee Dong Wook and Song Ji Hyo will become the new love line viewers will want to watch out for! However, with Yoon Jin Yi also mentioned, it may be that we might even see a love triangle in the making.
As always, all sides have expressed that they have been approached and are looking at things optimistically but have not yet confirmed (which usually means that we will be seeing the three actors on the show!)
The drama ‘Mandate of Heaven’ will start airing mid-April after ‘Iris 2‘.

Im Seulong from idol ballad group 2AM was offered with a role in the upcoming KBS drama.According to a insider from the production company, the singer and actor was offered the role of Crown Prince.The insider said, “we are considering Im Seulong for the role of Crown Prince. He will be one of the main roles. No decisions yet, but we should make a decision by the end of the week.”“Heaven’s Order” has become a hot topic for casting Lee Dong Wook, Song Ji Hyo and Yoon Jin Yi as the lead roles, a well as having director Choi Min Gi and producer Lee Jin Seo working together.Im Seulong debuted as an actor in the 2010 MBC drama “Personal Taste” starring Lee Minho and Son Ye Jin.He also made his movie debut in the movie “26 Years” which earned him a newcomer award at The Marie Claire Film & Music Festival, last week.“Heaven’s Order” will be about a royal physician who gets involve in a plot to kill the king and becomes a fugitive, while he tries to save his daughter.The drama is set to start airing on April, after “IRIS 2.”
