KETIADAAN seorang pun pemain Perak membarisi skuad Datuk K Rajagobal dalam misi mempertahankan Piala Suzuki AFF tahun ini melahirkan rasa kurang berpuas hati dalam kalangan penyokong mereka.
Presiden Kelab Peminat Bola Sepak Perak, Abdul Jamil Othman berkata, kedudukan Perak di kelompok empat pasukan teratas sepatutnya diambil kira dalam sesi pemilihan pemain, namun ia tidak berlaku.
“ Sedangkan pasukan lain yang tidak berada dalam kedudukan terbaik pula dipanggil pengendali Harimau Malaya itu.
“ Kami lihat sepanjang pemilihan pemain untuk Piala AFF Suzuki, tiada seorang pun kelibat pemain Perak, jadi sebagai penyokong kami rasa terkilan dan mahukan jurulatih itu memberi penjelasan kepada perkara ini.
“ Takkan dalam 28 pemain Perak tiada seorang pun pemain berwibawa untuk menggalas tangunggjawab itu, ” katanya kepada Sinar Harian, semalam.
