Yesterday... ta-da!
There was an introductory meeting and first rehearsal for 'Yankee-kun to Megane-chan' which will begin on 23 April, 10pm~!
It was the first time I heard about the order of the scenes and ideas from the director, and I think that it would be a really great drama
The cast and character are strong, there were new people and those that I haven't seen in a long time
It was fun during practice, and I had to keep the laughter in from start to finish [laugh]
I'm gonna enjoy it once it begins!
Everyone, look forward to it!!
Changing the subject,
there's something terrible...
I have a mole on my neck!?
There's one strand of hair growing there
This might be hard to believe
But it's about 7cm [laugh]
There's an absurd long, thin strand of hair on my neck!!
When I was wearing my parka this morning
It got stuck and that's when I found out about it
I never knew it existed!!
But mole with hair
Does it bring good luck?
Worrying about whether the next drama would be a hit, but with the usual Narimiya style, I got rid of it
My body is unbelievable!!

I, Hongo,
Will be in the TBS Friday drama (10pm onwards) 'Yankee-kun to Megane-chan'.
As the character Izumi Gaku!
I think it's a new type of role for me.
Look forward to it going on-air.

Yankee-kun to Megane-chan
Introduction
 
This spring, TBS brings you the high school drama 'Yankee-kun to Megane-chan' on Friday nights, led by a rogue yankee youth and a girl in glasses who's an airhead. The original work from Weekly Shonen Magazine is popular among both men and women.
The main protagonist is Shinagawa Daichi, the yankee youth. In the same class as him is the class representative Adachi Hana, who at first glance, seems like a normal and diligent girl in glasses. Embroiled in various situations, this story of young lives revolves around the importance of friendship, an enjoyable school life and ultimately the meaning of one's existence.
Playing the lead role is popular actor Narimiya Hiroki. He brings a presence to the roles that he take, including the recently aired 'Bloody Monday'. This time as a lonesome yankee, he gets into quarrels for the sake of his comrades. Along the way, Shinagawa Daichi meets unique heroine Adachi Hana, played by the competent Naka Riisa.
The characters are yankees, airheads and those who like to play truant, each one burdened with problems, but, at the root of it all is that they are good high school students. As their stories unfold in the comedic campus, current teenagers, as well as their parents, those struggling with their social life and those in their 20s and 30s will enjoy this comedy.
There will be fights, jokes, romance and empathy. The drama hopes to convey various emotions which are universal to everyone, "It's wonderful that people are connected to one another." Through Shinagawa Daichi's character, we hope that the drama will be an encouragement to your own lives.

Fellow audience, nice to meet you!!
Welcome to the official site for the Friday night drama 'Yankee-kun to Megane-chan'.
From today onwards until the end, a period of about 4 months, the Web Staff and I will bring you reports from the Cast and Staff. Please support us right to the end ♪♪
Without any more delays... Team YanMega began filming on 13th March.
At a certain school we rented, the first scene was for Shinagawa Daichi, played by Narimiya Hiroki!!
"Everyone, good morning. For the next 3 months, let's work hard on avoiding injuries and staying healthy. Filming might be difficult, but I'm sure I'll have fun as Shinagawa Daichi! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu" said the hyped-up Narimiya.
Black hair and the uniform?? The reason is... !?
They were a filming a scene of Daichi in middle school. "You still look okay to be in middle school ne," the director said. "Really? Still safe? [laugh]" replied an embarrassed Narimiya. After filming, he shared his thoughts, "I think filming why Daichi became a yankee right from the beginning is great, it makes it easier for me to play the role. Usually, the actor has to think about the history of the character... To continue filming from this scene onwards will be good," he said with a smile. "Last night I was so nervous, I couldn't sleep. To have begun filming safely, I'm relieved [laugh]," Narimiya continued.
This is the high school student Shinagawa Daichi.

Narimiya's Action Scene!
Hello everyone, this is Domo from the Web Staff!!
These days there's strong wind around the Kanto region, and heavy rain too. What about where you are? Are you doing well?
So, I've kept you waiting for Narimiya's filming report!
In the last report, it was about Narimiya's start of filming, the 'Junior High School scene'.
Tsuji guiding the action scenes!
Team GOCOO's Tsuji-san is in charge of the action scenes, Narimiya is coached for Daichi's movements♪
Which means... Team YanMega begins with an action scene!!
Director: When someone hits you, what do you say?
Narimiya: Something like this?
Narimiya having fun
Director: Yup yup. Try that.
Narimiya: Oriyaaaaaa~
Tsujii: That's a good feeling.
Director: Good good.
Narimiya: I'll do my best [laugh].
Narimiya memorizes his moves one at a time.
High kick!!!!
Team GOCOO and everyone were concerned, asking "Were you hit?", "Are you okay?".
Once filming began, the tempo was good and the moves were easily carried out...
"Very cool," the director said as Narimiya watched the monitor.
Amidst the intense action... a smiling Narimiya
Filming has just begun, but there's already a good atmosphere surrounding Team YanMega. From now onwards there'll be even more action, look forward to it!

Narimiya to be a Yankee Boy in the New TV Drama
The drama "Flunk Punk Rumble (ヤンキー君とメガネちゃん Yankee-kun to Megane-chan)" starring Hiroki Narimiya (成宮寛貴) and Riisa Naka (仲里依紗) held the press conference in Tokyo on April 19.
The original manga with the same title depicts a campus story between the Yankee (Japanese term for delinquent) boy and a absent-minded girl with a pair of glass on the nose. Also it is the first time for Nariyama to play the main role in TV
Narimiya: "The content is about everyone to find out their own place and friends. I feel very happy to encounter with this drama at my 10th debut anniversary." As to Naka, Narimiya commented boldly: "She is like a newborn dinosaur and you will want to take off her shells. And she has a face of dinosaur. Sometimes I feel like talking with a little animal." "Yes I am often said to look like a dinosaur." Naka answered with a wryly smile.
