2 Oct ?They never call it quits! Just after the wrap of Genius Parade's second film, "Syirik" recently, the prolific filmmaking duo M. Subash and Surenthar are eyeing a third project, a drama called "Jomlah C.I.U.M". To our surprise, they are even offering some acting roles in their upcoming project to Cinema Online writers!

As to what brings them to such bold decision, the actor-director Subash explained: "As filmmakers, we should be creative and daring enough to come out with fresh ideas and approaches. Acting talent can come from anywhere, even from the media! So what's wrong with approaching them for our film? Of course, some people might see this effort as a shallow decision from us but Surenthar (producer) and I have done a lot of thinking for this. It's about time for us to introduce new faces to the film scene, which could lead to a new perspective in the local scene.

The film, which will see Subash himself leading the line-up, is currently in the pre-production phase. The movie is to shoot after this Hari Raya break somewhere on the East Coast.

sinopsis boring...

Mengisahkan pandangan seorang pelajar India yang bernama Kutty yang ingin menghasilkan suatu projek kajiannya di universiti. Beliau sedang mengambil jurusan perfileman dan ingin mendapat biasiswa untuk meneruskan bidang perfileman di luar Negara.

Beliau membuat kajian tentang keunikan Malaysia dan kekuatan bangsa Melayu, India dan Cina yang tinggal di Malysia. Dalam proses menghasilkan projek ini, secara tidak langsung, Kutty jatuh cinta dengan seorang wanita di Terengganu yang cukup mulia tingkah lakunya.

Filem ini turut membawa kita mendalami aspek perpaduan yang wujud di kalangan masyarakat kita walaupun warna kulit berbeza. Ayah kepada wanita Melayu (Suzy) berpendapat adalah tidak manis untuk membenarkan Kutty dan Suzy untuk berkahwin.

Adakah usaha Kutty untuk mendapat kasih sayang Suzy menjadi kenyataan?

Synopsis: "Jomlah C.I.U.M." ("Jomlah Cari Identity Untuk Malaysia") tells a story about the efforts of an Uztaz who wants to build a Surau for misguided youths to return to the righteous path of Allah. Despite being blind, the Uztaz figures that only with religion, all social problems can be solved. Due to having financial constraints, he decides to seek the help of the public. He is flattered when he hears the news that a Buddhist monk and a Christian priest wants to help him build that Surau.
