Has anyone read this one.? This is my 5th book that is related to Aghanistan.  Next one in line will be Michener's CARAVANS.  There is a lot controversy on this book.  The real bookseller on which the book is about sued the author a few years back for misrepresenting some of the accounts in the book.  I am only on the 3rd Chapter, already I am disgusted by how women are treated by men over there.  You don't want to believe that some men can be real @$$holes it but then you read about what happened to Mukhtar Mai, no choice but to believe it  After readings all these books on afghanistan I have a lot respect for the afghan women.  Nothing in my life no matter how hard it is, compared to their despair these women had to endure.  And it is still going on.  I would go out of my mind if I am subjected to even half of the nightmare they had to go through.
