Mula le tu nak ayat tu.... Belajar dari FD ke, testas? BTW, server room tak leh duduk dua2 orang nanti hantu dia datang.
Teringat aku satu cerita, sorang customer aku cakap ada sorang mamat ni; rajin keje betul, datang pagi2 dia dah ada, org dah balik dia still ada kat dalam server room tu... Then, 1 day dia hilang; sorang pun tak tau.
Customer aku ni manager level tapi bukan boss mamat ni, tapi dia ni dah tua & haji lak tu. So, dia usaha cari sampai kampung etc... tapi tak jumpa... Last sekali dia jumpa mamat ni kat hospital, cakap meracau2...
So, dia bawak balik & tanya elok2; mamat ni cakap dia nampak asap putih keluar dari belakang server, kecik je.... Asap tu datang kat dia & jadik cam awek cun & tak pakai baju etc... Dia cakap nak tengok takut, tapi tak tengok rugi lak.... Tu yg dia meracau2 tak abih2 tu....
So, testas, kalau kau kat server room tu jgn tengok belakang server time maghrib2 lak tau.... Customer aku tu kenen aku, dia cakap mamat2 yg selalu lepak dgn komputer ni memang pelik2 sikit... Aku gelak je la.... Biasa le, aku cakap...

Yep, MIMOS ni kinda gov't le... I busy sangat tu tak le, tapi kena time tak betul & this guy kasi invitation last minutes le... Nak buat camne, most of us dah berselerak serata dunia, this guy yg baru kahwin ni based kat Jakarta & kahwin dgn Philipino; dah kahwin Sept 2007, balik sini buat kenduri je... Most of my friend, balik sini & tak boleh masuk kepala dgn "corporate's ways" company kat sini. So, banyak yg pegi US balik, ada yg sampai buat airport kat India, ada 3 org kat Indonesia, etc....
Anyway, belajar tu tak pernah tamat le... Esp. in IT, the tech will always on the move & you'll have to chasing it.... IMHO, the best way to learn is to be in a small company & reap in info as much as you can, then make a jump onto bigger company or jump the ship & be on your own.
Anyway, if you can, try doing your Master or Doctorate in the States... You'll learn lots more there, cuz their way education doesn't rely on "what's in the book" but, more to what you can prove or dis-prove, be it a theory or acceptable fact. They will challenge you to think out-of-the-box & not to worry about challenging a theory or even come up with your own.... |

Lor... I pun anak mak gak, abah I takleh beranak le.... hehehhe
Anak mak tu memang le anak mak, tapi sampai bila nak tidur bawah ketiak mak? Tulah, cakap gomen je terus taknak. Gomen tu le tiket U nak belajar lagi. Ada few of my friends, keje dgn gomen then ambik option nak study-on-the-job... Mostly, they all mintak study kat luar... Ada sorang girl tu lecturer kat UiTM, sekarang kat Dublin, 1 guy kat UiTM gak sekarang kat Manchester....
Anyway, you should consider this as lots of things you can learn by being overseas, not just your courses.... You'll learn to be independent, look after yourself, etc... & most importantly, you'll see things in a variety of different angles...
Also, country like US; you can take Exchange-student visa & work part-time to finance your study. The pay is always good as they have minimum wages which differ from each states to the next.... Masa I kat sana, I hantar newspapers pagi2 & earned USD1000 a month, my scholarship was only USD500 a month... |
