Convert Scanned Document to Microsoft Word

Not sure if this is the right place to ask for help, but can someone tell me the best program that can convert a document that is scanned into a microsoft word file. Meaning that I have a document which I scanned through my office's photocopy cum scanned machine and being saved into my PC and I need it to be in word file in normal type style and not picture/image style.
Is this possible? If there is any available software that I can download it in the net would be very much appreciated.

When you scan, select document instead of pictures

Output files, select Microsoft Word

Thanks.....tp company I rasa dah letak higher firewall, nak download pun tak boleh. Kena balik rumah baru boleh buat...
Dah check scanner, memang tak boleh kot canggih sangat.

software OCR ni biasanya bundle dgn scanner cuba check balik dgn pegawai atau jabatan berkenaan.
