there's no more ps2(thick) new..mostly recon..
better u buy new one ( slim )
rm599+10 games ( 2 controller minus memory card )
rm620+10 games (2 controller + memory card )

Well.. I抦 suspect that the IC problem. I抳e using it almost 2 years..
This lately I抦 having a loading problem.. after 1 or 2 min playing..its start
To Idle and Hang .. and I already send it to vendor for repair. Not yet complete..
Now waiting for the result. :hmm:

Well.. if the lens is daying.. its will be so expensive to repair..
Its almost to reach a price of buying another new set..rite.. :hmm:

About the old faulty set. Is it the fat PS2? If me, i'll repair the lens because i love the fat PS2. Hehehe...

Yes.. its Fat model.. I really love it.. That抯 why I must repair it.. coz..
its much stable than the slim model.. two of my brother also buy
the fat model.. before that there using the slim model.. after do some
comparisons.. than there change to fat model.. emm..

Well.. hope my PS2 will be ok after repair..:pray:

Yea...it is better to repair that PS2, if can laa. U can do a lot of things with it. U can see other topics here how they use the old PS2 (online games, play games off HDD etc).

If cant, dont know laaa. Hope u can repair it.

Well, its just my opinion.. Which that I feel comfortable with.. rite..??.
If.. u go around the Games Shops.. most of them using Fat Model..
Coz.. its can stand the heat.. and last..long. But the slim model.. I抦 not
That sure.. but I heard about the cooling fan a bit noisy..

As for me, thick one is more stable. You can play for long hours without problem. My experience, there was one time i played for 18 hours nonstop. on average at least 10 hours a day. It's been 3 1/2 years already. No problem so far.

I have the fat version too.Been 5 years already.Just upgraded the modchip.Still works fine though but once in a while I get the red-screen of death.Hmm...
