Gooday all...just want to ask if any of guys bought the slim version of the PsTwo silver....has it got any problems playing certain games?...CHeers..:nerd:

I heard that (since it has no internal cooling fan) it tends to overheat too soon. |

it does have a fan, however it is quite small,not suitable to play in room temperature in malaysia...
unless ur playing in aircond room...
but, maybe the unit ur referring to is the one that has been modified,hehehehe, it bound to have problems when playing those p.games... hehehe

Yes u r correct. I guess I was misinformed.Slim PS2 do have cooling fans..
yes it could be room temp..(if its really true that the slim ps2 tend to overheat too quickly,I dunno coz I dont own slim type)..and maybe I think since its size is so compact..maybe there isn't enough open space inside for proper dispersion of heat..like all the hot-air is trapped inside and the small fan(s) isn't efficient enough to suck out the heat properly...

personally, i don't recommend u to buy slim ps2 instead of the old bulky one (mines is that one, since 2003)
but the problem now is the bulky ps2 almost absolute in the market, so best of luck for u to find it, or, u could wait for ps3 to come out hehehe (some saya its backward compatible with ps2 games) |

yup, my friend have ps2 slim, what he do is; he buy on desktop fan, and proper aligned it with the ps2's ventilation system,and put the fan to highest setting..
well, i see no problem ever since he do that..wait, their is one problem. the ps2 slim tend to drop down becoz of the force of the wind 
anything else is ok... |

IC...:hmm: Theres this one shop i went around today..he say tomorrow arrive the Ps2 bulky one..but its still expensive than ps2 slim..about RM940....
PS3 is still a long way to go b4 it arrives here...i wanted to buy Xbox360.....i just cant seem to make up my mind now...:geram: PSP? Ps2? Xbox? Xbox360? :geram: |

yup, the bulky one is some sort of limited edition nowaday..or maybe it is recond one...
hum, what to buy. well entirely up to what games do you prefer... as for rpg game, go for sony's.a lot to offer... |
