So fungsi air kat lombong tu memang untuk sejukkan solar panel. Dan lagi satu Selangor memang nak utilize air lombong sebagai bekalan air.
2 in 1.
Benda ni boleh dibuat kawasan2 pulau juga. Kalau pandai mentadbir. |

Makanan macam2 tepi jalan. Laut bendang ada....sebab tu masa aku kerja kat Sarawak , aku balik ke kampung balik sebab homesick.

Floating solar kat dengkil tu bukan untuk generate power tuk rumah dekkk... Dia testing je. Dia ckp could potentially power je. Abis tu takan setiap kali bina perumahan nak kena bina dekat reservoir? Dekat ex mining pool? Nak kena bina artificial lake ke? Pastu air pool ke lake tu mengering satu hal lak. Empangan tu lain la feed water from sungai, stormwater etc. Btw, air from ex mining pool is not safe for consumption lah. Heavily polluted (tak memasal rakyat selangor kena cancer). Pastu nak lak kena buat treatment plant ke. Banyak lak cost. Baik la just buat rooftop solar for houses. Cheaper option mcm sekarang yg dah sedia ada. |

Solarvest successfully installs largest floating solar farm in Selangor

Solar photovoltaic (“PV”) system specialist, Solarvest Holdings Berhad has successfully installed and commissioned a 13.0 mega-watt peak (MWp) large-scale floating solar plant in Dengkil, Selangor. The plant is one of its kind in Malaysia and is now the largest floating solar farm to be commissioned thus far.
The solar plant was built on an ex-mining lake for WD Solar Sdn Bhd, part of the WD Group whose principal activities are in the sand mining and transport sector.
About 38,790 pieces of solar panels were installed on a panel of floaters that extends approximately 53 hectares of a lake surface, equivalent to 30 football fields. The floating plant will generate about 16,640 MWp of solar power that could potentially power up over 5,800 houses and offset about 11,548 tonnes of carbon footprint annually.
Unlike ground mounted solar farms, floating solar PV is built on water surface. Some of the key challenges in building the plant includes the consideration of water levels, safety of the plants, selection of material such as floater and anchorage system, as well as the accessibility of the plant for operations and maintenance activities.
Group Chief Executive Officer of Solarvest, Davis Chong Chun Shiong said, “We are proud to deliver yet another groundbreaking project and this marks the completion of our ninth LSS projects under the LSS programme. It is a very special project for us as it is our first foray into the large-scale floating solar segments and it opens doors to more possibilities for us in the LSS segments.”
“In addition to ground mount and rooftop projects, we see great potential in floating solar farms as it provides solar investors an alternative solution in areas where land is scarce. As compared with ground mounted solar plant, floating PV or floatovoltaics provides higher plant productivity as the water bodies act as natural coolants that improve the plant’s efficiency rates. The shade from the panels also helps to reduce the evaporation rates of the lake as well as it improves the water quality by restricting the amount of algaes from growing.”
“While the floating PV market is considered a niche, it is projected to grow on an average rate of above 20% globally in the coming five years. Floating PV is dubbed as the future third pillar of the global solar PV market, and Asia is expected to account for about two thirds of the global demand. The rising demand is also expected in South East Asia and Taiwan, where we are actively pursuing for opportunities in these regions. Locally, there are more than 50 lakes in Selangor alone and many of them are underutilised, translating into opportunities for us to harvest solar energy efficiently,” he concluded.
In Taiwan, the local government has offered Feed-in-Tariffs (FITs) specifically for floating solar systems to spur growth in this segment. Any floating systems coming onstream in the second half of 2020 will be eligible to receive a FIT of NTD 4.2709–4.7067/kWh for 20 years. Globally, there are more than 60 countries actively pursuing the deployment of floating solar PV, out of which 35 countries are home to an estimated 350 operational floating solar PV systems with a cumulative capacity of approximately 2.6 gigawatts (GW) as at end of August 2020. |

Menurut kajian, air lombong membahayakan kesihatan, bagaimanakah mengatasinya?
Lembaga Urus Air Selangor dan Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Selangor telah mengadakan pensampelan kualiti air terhadap 30 buah kolam bekas lombong pada tahun 2005 dan memilih 17 buah lombong yang sesuai dijadikan sumber air alternatif. Salah satu kreteria utama pemilihan kolam bekas lombong adalah ujian kualiti airnya adalah menepati piawaian air mentah oleh Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia.
Pada tahun 2011, pensampelan dilakukan sekali lagi terhadap 17 buah lombong tersebut bagi mengkaji kesesuaian sumber air lombong untuk tujuan semakan kualiti terkini dan juga pewartaan. Sekiranya air kolam bekas lombong digunakan sebagai sumber bagi bekalan air, air tersebut perlu dirawat dan mesti menepati piawaian air minum oleh Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia selain mendapat kelulusan Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara untuk menjalankan operasi loji pembersihan air. |

SHAH ALAM: Sebanyak 98 kolam, tasik dan bekas lombong di Selangor akan digunakan bagi membantu negeri ini menangani keperluan sumber bekalan air tambahan dalam menghadapi kemarau, mulai 2025.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Tetap Infrastruktur dan Kemudahan Awam, Pemodenan Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani, Izham Hashim, berkata ia membabitkan 20 bekas lombong sudah diwartakan melalui Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) serta 78 kolam tambahan baharu yang dikenal pasti.
"Daripada keseluruhan jumlah itu, kerajaan negeri telah meluluskan 21 kolam dipilih untuk naik taraf dalam Skim Jaminan Air Mentah (SJAM).
"Kolam-kolam dipilih itu dijangka mampu menyediakan bekalan air tambahan dengan ketahanan selama dua bulan," katanya pada sidang Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Selangor, di sini, hari ini.
Beliau menjawab soalan Michelle Ng Mei Sze (PH-Subang Jaya) mengenai pelan tindakan kerajaan negeri untuk menghadapi kemarau berpanjangan mulai 2025.
Menjelaskan lanjut, Izham berkata, kolam terbabit akan naik taraf dengan infrastruktur tambahan yang mana kapasiti 14 juta meter padu ketika ini dijangka meningkat kepada 21 juta meter padu.
Dalam pada itu, beliau memaklumkan, sebanyak 127 kolam takungan banjir bawah Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) yang sedia ada turut dinilai semula.
"Ini bagi melihat sama ada ia boleh bertindak secara dwifungsi, iaitu sebagai kolam takungan banjir dan sumber air alternatif ketika musim kemarau," katanya. |

Selangor memang advance 2012 tu diorang buat research dan survei jumlah lombong untuk kegunaan air mentah.
Lagipun heavymetal dah outflow ke laut...tapak lombong2 kat Selangor ni dan tua/matang.
10 tahun dulu diorang dah kaji untuk 10 tahun punya rancangan.
Ko boleh baca Rancangan Selangor Pertama RS-1.

Satu pun tarak citer sudah ada pilot project power household kat negeri mana2.
Even Singapore yg advanced tu pun x de lagi buat and derang lagi laju bab2 research ni. The fact is on a good day boleh le generate energy tapi kalau sebulan hujan mendung mampus rumah2 ni kena catu letrik kalau totally depending on solar. Kena juga supplement juga dgn energy from other source. Rumah i sendiri guna solarpv so i tau plus the company i work with buat consultancy for Singapore PUB floating solar kat reservoir derang, taiwan, indon. It is feasible tapi set up mahal plus maintenance lagi so nak offload ke customers yg beli rumah tu ke camne? |
