PURE LIFE SOCIETY HOSTS FREE MEDICAL CAMP IN PUCHONGKuala Lumpur, The Pure Life Society in collaboration with the Medical Faculty of MAHSA University and the Ministry of Health is hosting a medical camp at its campus in Puchong on Sunday, 28 September.
The camp will be open to the public and qualified doctors will perform free medical checkups on the day.
Datin Paduka Mother A Mangalam, president of the Pure Life Society says, “Preventive medicine needs to play an important in the society since costs for curative medicine are increasing by the day and is getting out of the reach of many in the society.
Good nutrition, physical exercise, healthy living and regular checkups by doctors can prevent many of the common diseases that inflict people, particularly the children and the aged”.
The camp will feature free medical checks including blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, eye, and dental. Pap smear tests and breast screening will also be available on the day for women.
Over a hundred students are expected to donate blood on the day and public are invited to join them. A health exhibition and talks on preventive measures will be held throughout the day, between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Public from the Puchong, Jalan Klang Lama, Kinrara and the surrounds are expected to attend.
