What is your problem? I think you should be sorry of yourself for being sorry for others. The Malays in Singapore has transgressed that issue long time ago...they are better off then youand me in terms of quality of life. They willingly accept Meritocracy..with pride not bagging for free lunch.

I don't think people should be whip for drinking beer. Drinking is a matter of free choice, there shld be no compulsion in religion.
If muslims think it ...wrong to wrong beer, they shld do it by education, not by whipping. And thats what we do in Singapore. Malasy wanna drink, go ahead, they don't wanna drink, no problem at all.

Thats why the Malays in Singapore pity you folks. My Malay frens are laughing at yu people while enjoying beers

we agree if u want to drink beer, go ahead laa...who cares?...:lol:

Malays in Singapore is not necessarily a Muslim

Thats right. They were born into the religion and expected to be muslims by default but think islam is fake.

What is important is that the most capable people lead. Otherwise, a civilization will fall apart. It`s very islamic. God is fair to all for all deeds done on earth; arabs, jews, asians, etc.It is a lesson for everyone in management. Of course, deeds meant for afterlife or akhirat is another issue.

Singapore has already transited to using a layered UAV force. So you have several layes of eyes looking down on the battlespace together with AWACs/AEWS and other aerial surveillance assets. Singapore has been using UAVs for more than 20 years and developed doctrines to use them effectively and continues to do so.

You have the the Birdeye Mini-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Mini-UAV) System which Spidy has posted flying at lower altitudes;

http://www.mindef.gov.sg/etc/medialib/imindef_media_library/graphics/army/resources/resources_-_photo/wall08.Par.0008.Image.gif?direct=1

Then, you have the Searcher Mk 2s low to mid level(MALE - Mid Altitude Long Endurance) UAVs;

http://www.mindef.gov.sg/etc/medialib/imindef_media_library/graphics/army/resources/resources_-_photo/wallaby_05.Par.0007.Image.gif?direct=1

Then you have the higher altitude Hermes 450(MALE) UAVs with bigger payload;

http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/images/AIR_UAV_Hermes_450_Overland_lg.gif

Hermes can be armed with anti-surface missiles by the way and it is probably a step towards RSAF acquiring the larger Predator unmanned combat uavs,

RSAF will be buying high altitude HALE UAVs next. It is reported that Singapore will purchase HALE(High Altitude Long Endurance )Globalhawk ;

There are also a couple of other UAVs built by Singapore Technologies(and probably tested and used by the SAF) cited over the years like the VTOL(vertical take-off and landing)Fan-tail;same UAV offered to Indian armed forces;

Skyblade series of UAVs by Singapore Technologies;

http://www.staero.aero/images/service/skyblade4/skybladeIV_pic1.jpg
Skyblade 4(probably destined for operational use by SAF - looks like a potental replacement for the Searcher MK2s)

Tactical stealth MAV-1 UAV by Singapore Technologies and upsizeable to Combat UAV or UCAV which can carry weapons internally;

Looks like the US X-45 attack stealth UAV huh;

There is also a version of a Firefly UAV by ST/DSTO(?) reported previously and rumoured to be convertable to a cruise missile. It does look like a missile as i recalled.

There are also reports of Singaporean-Israeli collaboration on the Blue Horizon UAV.

There are quite a number of other uavs built by Singapore Technologies. I cant remember them all now. Recently, the RSN also tested the Boeing Scaneagle UAV at sea from RSN frigates and LPDs;

UAVs are just not meant for optical surveillance but they are capable of carrying a whole host of sensors like Elint, EW warfare systems and radars.

A type of radar which can be equipped on UAVs is called SAR. These are airborne, all-weather surface Image Intelligence (IMINT) systems, based on Synthetic Aperture Radar technology. An example is the ELM/2060 SAR/GMTI radar system. Such UAVs will be able to see anything on the gound beyond the range of optical-electronic sights and anything that moves for tracking and targetting day and night and possess complicated computing systems to tell between friendly and non-friendly targets. 100-150 km radar range on SAR equipped MALE UAVs is achieveable.Such intel-gathering systems are usually net-worked and linked to "shooters" like planes, missiles and artillery for immediate disposal or destruction of enemy targets in seconds.

Singapore has more than 132 Leopard 2 tanks now(probably around 150 Leo 2 tanks according to some estimates).More will probably be bought to replace remaining AMX-13 tanks.

Sudah dikemukakan oleh SAF that Singapore will upgrade all the Leo 2 tanks with new internal systems and tank armour. I guess they will probably look like the Leopard 2A5/2A6 tanks;
