Lucy Liu is a first-time mom.

A rep for the actress confirmed that she welcomed a baby boy via surrogate on Thursday. “I can confirm that Lucy Liu is the proud mother of Rockwell Lloyd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier,” her rep told Page Six.

“Mom and baby are healthy and happy.”

The 46-year-old shared her exciting — and surprising — news via Instagram with a sweet mother-son photo.

“Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu” she wrote.

The “Elementary” star did not previously reveal she was expecting a child.

Liu, who is extremely discreet about her personal life, was linked to hedge-fund billionaire Noam Gottesman in 2014.
