Justin Bieber may top his terrible 2013 with an even worse 2014.
The "Boyfriend" singer was arrested early Thursday morning in Miami Beach, according to police.

"The Insider" has learned that the 19-year-old was driving a rented Lamborghini when he was pulled over at 4:09 a.m. for drag racing. He had a female passenger in his car. When police performed a field sobriety test, he failed and was then arrested for DUI.
During a press conference on Thursday, a police spokesperson told the media that Bieber admitted to officers that he had been drinking, smoking pot, and had taken prescription medication prior to his arrest.
The police rep added that Bieber was "belligerent" when police stopped him for driving 55 to 60 in a 30 mile per hour zone, using several choice words. He also did not have a valid driver's license.
A second arrest was also made. Singer Khalil (full name Khalil Amir Sharieff), who was driving another car, was also booked for DUI.
Mug shots for both Bieber and Khalil will be available after they are processed at Miami-Dade County Corrections, according to police.
Local news anchor Jason Martinez, who works for ABC Miami, posted a photo of the yellow sports car Bieber was allegedly racing during the traffic stop:

Justin Bieber was arrested for DUI early Thursday morning and it wasn't pretty -- cops say Justin was wasted and resisted arrest and cussed the cop out, dropping multiple F bombs ... TMZ has learned.
Justin posed for a smiley mug shot moments after the arrest -- while sporting what appears to be a jail-issued orange jump suit.
Law enforcement tells us ... Bieber was busted in Miami Beach and it didn't end with DUI ... he was also busted for resisting arrest without violence, drag racing and driving on an expired license
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... they believe Justin was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol.
In fact, officials held a news conference and said, "[Justin] made statements he had consumed some alcohol, been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication"
According to the police report -- obtained by TMZ -- cops approached Bieber's car and they instantly realized he reeked of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. He had a "stupor" look on his face.
The police report says ... Bieber was defiant from the get-go, yelling at the cops, "Why the f**k are you doing this?" He also yelled, "What the f**k did I do. Why did you stop me?"
When the officer tried to perform a routine pat down, Bieber said, "I ain't got no f**king weapons, why do you have to search me? What the f**k is this about?" Bieber claimed he wasn't drunk and coming back from recording music. That's not true, because we knew he was at a club.
Now the basis for the resisting arrest charge -- Before the pat down, as Bieber got out of the car, he "kept going into his pants pocket." The cop ordered him to put his hands on the vehicle, and Bieber initially complied but soon took his hands off the car, turned and then cussed out the cop. The cop then grabbed Justin by the right arm, Justin pulled his arm away, and said, "What the f**k are you doing?"
The report says Justin was driving between 55 and 60 MPH in a 30 MPH residential area.
Bieber is now in custody and is at the police department where he is being tested -- presumably to more precisely measure his blood alcohol level. Our law enforcement sources say Justin was given a field sobriety test at the scene ... and failed.
His next stop will be jail, where he will be booked and processed and bail will be set.
We're told Bieber had just left SET nightclub and was driving a yellow Lamborghini at the time cops spotted him in a residential neighborhood. Our sources say Justin's people actually blocked the street off so Bieber could drag race
Sources say the person Justin was racing was also arrested. We're told that driver was Khalil, a well-known rapper on Def Jam Records. He was in a red Ferrari.
Justin had a passenger in the car -- Chantel Jeffries -- a model, who's dated multiple celebs including an NFL superstar.
The traffic stop was for drag racing and cops determined he was driving under the influence.

Justin Bieber waved to the media as he was released from jail this afternoon.
The 19-year-old singer had earlier appeared in court by video link after he was arrested for drunk driving and resisting arrest while allegedly drag racing in Miami early this morning.
He looked emotionless and fidgeted as he heard his bail set at $2,500.
Police arrested the pop star as he drove a bright yellow Lamborghini at up to 60mph in a 30mph speed limit zone while allegedly racing Def Jam rapper Khalil Sharief who was driving a Ferrari.
He had spent a night partying with model Chantel Jeffries and allegedly admitted to officers that he had been smoking marijuana 'all day', taking anti-depressants and drinking beer when he was stopped at 4am.
The troubled singer, who has had a number of brushes with the law - LA police raided his mansion earlier this month after a neighbor's house was attacked with eggs - allegedly asked the arresting officers 'Why the f*** did you stop me' this morning.
And although the singer appeared stoic as he appeared in court, he allegedly broke down in tears when he returned to his cell, according to People.
RadarOnline maintained, however, his mood was very different before he appeared on camera - the star was reportedly heard mumbling to himself and giggling, which the site's source attributed to him still being 'under the influence.'
The star also told police it was his mother Pattie Mallette who gave him Xanax, one of the prescription drugs he was on during his arrest, according to TMZ. The site also reported his blood alcohol content was .04; Florida has no tolerance for underage drunk drivers.
After being released he hid behind black sunglasses and a hoodie as he entered a waiting car.
Bieber has reportedly hired attorney Roy Black to represent him.

Troubled teen star Justin Bieber's FATHER was with him at the time of his arrest in the early hours of Thursday morning, MailOnline has learned.
Jeremy Bieber, 38, has been enjoying a vacation in Miami on his son's dime - and was not only present when Justin was arrested but joined the singer's camp in helping to block off a residential street so his son could drag race.
Tweeting about his trip, Jeremy was even in SET nightclub just hours before the arrest with his son and was seen strolling along the beach with his son and rapper friend Khalil - who was also arrested.
A source told MailOnline: 'Jeremy was in an SUV next to Justin when the cops turned up. It's fair to say Jeremy is not a great influence - he certainly enjoys and takes advantage of his son's money and lifestyle.
'Justin's manager Scooter has been trying to get Justin help for the past two weeks, but no-one's helping.
'Of course people care about Justin, but we are in a very difficult situation.'
After posting a picture of himself with Justin and Khalil on his Instagram site, Jeremy was blasted by Bieber fans, one saying: 'Why aren't you f***ing helping your son? He could've been dead by now and you know that, right?!'
Another added: 'You're (sic) sons in jail. You haven't really been there for him. The least you could do is help him and us. I'm not trying to be mean.' While one said: 'love your son and help him because is your son you are the father not the other son please.'
Heavily tattooed Jeremy, who split with Justin's mom Patti Mallette when their son was 10 months old, is married to Erin and the couple live in Canada with their two kids, Jazmyn and Jaxon.
